Also, if you don't like Memnite you can throw in Ornithopter purely for Rebirth fodder. Although unlike Memnite, its not gonna serve much purpose beyond fodder.

I'd say you can ditch the Flame Slash, and include Goblin Guides. Guides do cost a bit of cash, but they're very good once you get them (I picked up a set the other day and they dominate early game)

If you're gonna include black then why not run a few Leyline of the Void?

Also, I don't see a great need for so much control in a Mill deck, if anything you should be running Deprive instead of Mana Leak because Deprive can allow for additional landfall for your crabs to Mill them even more.

You should focus on faster mill, maybe look into Tome Scours, Jace's Erasure, and additional draw cards so you can put those Erasures to further use.

The real problem with not running a black green Infect deck is that you lose out on Putrefax, which is usually a game ender if it ends up getting to turn 5. I would also limit your Skittles to just 1 or 2 because of it's higher cost as well as legendary status.

If you wanna run Proliferate you should look more into artifacts that run on Charge counters, and make it using blue.

Or better yet, you can Imprint Throne of Geth itself and have it sacrifice itself for it's own proliferate.

Proliferate just slows down any Infect deck. Unless that's what you were going for (slow and epic! XD).

Infect can be very fast, but if you want casual it's not always best to make the fastest deck possible purely for the sake of enjoyment. I have 2 Infect decks, one is a turn 3 killer and the other is a casual group brawler and even though my casual deck is slower, I still end up being targetted by mutiple people attempting to bring me down. This of course results in interesting moments in those group battles in the moments after I die when people start backstabbing eachother. XD

I'm making a similar Necrotic Ooze deck, although I'm gonna use B/U, so I can get access to Training Grounds, in my opinion my only big loss with not running G is that I lose the Birds, but oh well.

I like the use of Thought Gorger, I hadn't thought of that little guy till I saw you use him.

Are you trying to stay Standard with this deck? Because if you wanna throw in a fun out-of-standard card, you can give Buried Alive a try.

I just find it odd that there are alot of singles in there. But if it works then you can't argue with success xD

What exactly are you supposed to do with this deck?

It is quite odd.

The equipment is for Kemba, Kha Regent, that's why they're all low-cost low-equip. She puts down a Cat token for each equip she has on her during her upkeep. So yes, it's based around having a couple berserkers, while Kemba stores up her Cat tokens.

Actually, I think the Prototype Portal that I added will help the deck alot in terms of my low-cost equips. also, I see what you mean about Honor of the Pure, I just wanted to see how it looked. I'm gonna check out the cards you posted before I change it again.

The equips are actually one of the few things that I see as relatively unchangable. I'm mostly poking around what creatures I should put in, and how I should balance them. Lelouch put in Wall of Omens, but I'm trying to keep mine more kitty based. I'm not trying to make a equip deck, it's just that Kemba needs equips to really work.

Use Memnite instead of Ornithopter.

You should check out my deck, very aggro and fast paced. Turn 5 and I'm using Seahunter to pull out Deepchannel Mentor so all the Merfolk that I've amassed can attack and not be blocked. And that saves me space because I don't need counters to stop their creatures, or destruction cards.. I just go around. The best is turn 5 I pull out Wanderwine Prophets, and turn 6 pull out Deepchannel Mentor and hit them with a devestating unblockable multi-turn combo. Just ware them down with that.

So yea, a little slow; but they're great because they help you avoid getting bad hands.

I gotta admit, the title drew me to this deck!

On to business.. Only 2 Lord of Atlantis?

Also, I would take out the Mana Leaks.. If you REALLY need to run a counter card, Deprive would be better for this type of deck (as any deck with mana ramp would run straight through your Mana Leaks).

Same goes for Cursecatcher..

You can remove all 6 of those cards and put in 2 more Lords and 2 more Reejereys. I would make the additional Reejereys priority though just because of their untapping.

You should also take a look at a card called Seahunter, it lets you pull Merfolk out of your deck and put them into play.

Close chief, put in 4 Hedron Crabs. If you summon 1 per turn starting turn 1, in the time it takes you to summon all 4 Hedron Crabs, they've lost 38 cards (including the cards they've been drawing).. After that you'll just Tome Scour them to death.

Look into outting the Merrow Commerce and replacing them with Wake Thrasher, and taking out Sygg in favor of Seahunter or Cold Eyed Selkie.

Aquitect's Will is nice, but Spreading Seas is better as you don't need a Merfolk present to get the draw and it actually turns ANY land into an Island and can then tap only for Blue mana. I took out Aqui. Will and my Merfolk deck is no less Aggro than it was before (maybe it's even more aggro due to the added chance that you can mana screw people using multi-colored decks early game.)

You should also look into getting Lord of Atlantis as he gives +1/+1 as well as Island walk. I also put in Deepchannel Mentor as well for good measure. But I only ever summon my low cost Merfolk traditionally, whereas I use Seahunter to Pull out my power Merfolk early game (like Wake Thrasher)
