putting maybe 2 elspeths would be great endgame, and I would rather have more heroes of blade hold then use oxide ridge

you should be running a few more lands specially since kessig taps for colorless generally a 60 card deck should have 20 lands

nah im just an idiot and forgot to put land in, yeah I know I'm overboard on the taps, but I figure mid range creatures wouldn't really help either i tap stall for isochron or i tap stall for gedeons avenger/whispersilk or i tap stall to sunblast. The goal is to never be hit. The only issue I see in this deck is if i don't get a good opening hand burn may blow me away.

Thanks for the suggestions I added 2 green suns 3 serra's blessings, and 4 birds. I like the ajani idea as well, but I feel its much easier to get rid of ajani. I run ajani in my w/bu venser/ally deck, I love him:P

yeah, my friends and I play casual, and now that everyones up to speed we all have annoying decks that win turn 3 so we decided we were gunna start constructing some standard decks so were not constantly pissed when playing magic:P

Add the land Gaea's Cradle and add things like awakening zone/growthspasm etc etc, also Ashnod's Altar sac creatures for 2 mana, if you play a land every turn and get a decent amount of elderazi/creatures out you can tap Gaea's cradle for 4-8 mana and sac all your creatures for the remaining mana. Also Gurruk to untap lands and the urzas land set Tower Mine and Powerplant

It happened, 1v1 I generally beat this deck, but in multiplayer it really shines

leyline of sanctity says YOU specifically not things you control, garbage.
having 4 skyruins is way to many, by the time u get 7 plains(8 lands total) that's almost half the land in your deck -2
you only have 4 creatures you can get out before turn 4(I've suggested some at the bottom)
armored ascension is a great card but i don't see it fitting well in this deck -3
pariah+dawn/stuffy is a good idea but I dont see it fit for this deck you just want them to straight up be silenced or unable to attack -4 pariah -3 dawn
-1 gideon he costs 5 so you don't want him in your hand right away anyway and often times u would hold him for a creature tap
path to exile maybe risky play it early and your opponent has a early advantage, play it late and he gets that last mana for elesh norn that card really should be side borded for decks that don't need lots of mana
lastly I really like dawns charm.

this is what Id start with-

4x squadron hawk
2x sun titan
2x kor cartographer
2x elesh norn
x4 journey to nowhere
x2 oblivion ring(the other 2 can be side boarder for heavy ench/art decks)
x4 elspeth, Knight-Errant
x2 Gideon jura
x3 Dawn Charm
x3 Orim's chant
x3 Wrath of God
(31 cards)
I'm assuming you're going with 60 cards total so
x18 plains
x2 Emeria, the Sky Ruin
(20 cards)

this leaves you with 9 cards.

I would go with 4 pingers (gideon jura or the other one i forget its name)
and 3 scepters otherwise I don't think you will be able to fend off early game(pingers) or a heavy creature end game(scepter)

keep in mind you can use the scepter with Dawn Charm aswell, that would give you more options so you may go 4 dawns 2 orims or 4 dawns and 2 other cards.

and thats why they made doomblade lightning bolt journey to nowhere etc etc nothings unbeatable but yes firststrike deathtouch is rediculous, my girlfriend has a glissa deck that really sucks to play against if you dont have alot of removal

I played it withought the annoying turn 3 infinite silence combo against a variety of decks and it did really welli usually hate control decks but idk theirs somthing about tap decks thats more fun i guess:P

with all the extra card draws you need jaces erazure, also take out green and put in guard gomazoa unstead of wall of the tangle cord, and u have enough white prevent damage until end of turn cards to get rid of fog

yeah burn will probably own this deck, I really don't want to take out law keepers because they pump the avenger. When I make this deck I'll probably set aside some manaleaks/spell pierce's just for playing against burn.
