Hi mcphattus,

Fun deck. I am thinking of making a Geth deck soon. That you added Szadek is over kill, but who ever said you should give your opponent a chance?

Still, I hate to say this but why not use painter's servant + grindstone combo?
It is so much simpler to mill opponent's whole library and only costs 4 mana.
Unless you like prolonging the pain. It must be fun abusing opponent with Geth and Szadek.
And shouldn't the deck really be called "They sit on their thrones and laugh"? ;-)

Hi gk101,

Wow, never knew about Haakon, Stromgald Scourge,. he is an very interesting reanimation creature but I feel he really needs his own deck with lots of knights to really utilize him fully. May be I'll make a deck later based around him later. Thanks for the input.

Hey [email protected] and Wiebeast_462,

Yup, Eldrazi are great for reanimator decks. If fact rather early on the first reanimator deck I posted was
Bring Out Your Eldrazi Deck (Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=123170)
And very much like Wiebest_462 deck it brings out

3x Artisan of Kozilek
3x It That Betrays
3x Pathrazer of Ulamog

using 4x Doomed Necromancer, 4x Exhume, 4x Reanimate, 4x Soul Exchange with help from
4x Dark Ritual, 4x Entomb, 3x Buried Alive, and 4x Zombie Infestations.

I while I really like the theme of the my Bring Out Your Eldrazi Deck it does pretty poorly against control decks because it lacks true disruption; annihilator effects are too slow with non-hasted creatures. This is why I really like this deck and other like it that use discard cards both as a means to put creatures in graveyard and for diisruption by removing key cards from opponent's hand.

Yes, I debated in my mind quite a deal about Spell Pierce and Mana Leak.
But in the end it came down to there are alot of mana ramping decks out there and spell pierce
has a very short life to be used in, basically turns 1 - 3. And this deck really isn't set to go until
about turn 4 or 5. The dispel is there to provide a small slim chance of stopping opponent's counter spell or instant kill card as I try to go off and if I don't hopefully a myr reservoir will help me recover.

Its not that I have anything against hard counterspells (counterspells that counter everything). Look at my sideboard: it has mana leaks. As I said in my deck description other counterspells may work better for you in your meta-environment. My environment has a some red burn and black death but mostly B/U control decks and if I can counter a mana leak, negate, or spell pierce with Dispel on turn 4 or 5 that often is game.

Hi pantufla,

Ponder is a nice card, but this a Type II Standard Legal Deck and Ponder is not Type II legal.
Thanks for trying.

Hi Tygoat,

I tend to use bloodghast or insidious bookworm instead of reassembling skeleton, but in the right deck reassembling skeleton is nice creature especially in black sacrifice creature bring out big bad demon decks.

Sedris the traitor King is a very nice card for a reanimator deck but I like Geth, Lord of the Vault even more.

If fact that gives me an idea Animate Dead + Worldgorger + Swamp + Geth, Lord of the Vault would be very wicked combo allowing milling of opponent's library and taking control of any opponent's artifacts or creatures milled into the graveyard. I sense a new deck coming together soon.

Thanks for your input.

Hi soulknife,

Interesting idea about Worldgorger but the deck isn't really set to use infinite mana.

I take it you were referring to the Worldgorger/ Animate Dead or Nerromancy combo

How it works:

1. Cast Animate Dead or Necromancy, targeting the Dragon
2. Dragon comes into play, it's ability goes on the stack.
3. The ability resolves, and all my other permanents leave play
4. Since Animate Dead left play, Dragon goes to the graveyard
5. Since the Dragon left play, the land and Animate Dead or Necromancy return to play. Animate Dead or Necromancy triggers, targeting the Dragon.
6. In response to Animate Dead's or Necromancy ability going on the stack, tap the lands for mana.
7. Animate Dead or Necromancy resolves, Dragon comes into play, everything else leaves play.
8. Steps 4-7 repeat endlessly. Your mana pool fills.
9. You can interrupt the sequence to play an instant.
Combo explaination taken from
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Discussion.aspx?multiverseid=35056

But you're right Worldgorger is a very cool card in the right deck it can be like a Palinchron is in a high tide deck. The problem I see is that this deck doesn't have alot of cards that can use up alot of mana
at instant speed and I am limiting the kind of creatures to 1 only for this deck.

Deep thanks for input.

2 cabal coffers might help take out 2 swamp. The cabal coffers will often show up just about the time it would be nice to have a land that taps for more thatn 4 black mana.

Diabolic Intents or Culling the Weak also could be useful for this deck.

Diabolic intents to help find what you need. Culling the weak to help cast your big artifacts fast.

A sideboard of discard cards to help disrupt blue control decks.

Hi WhisperingMage,

Really don't need to play more than 60 cards with 4 living wishes in the deck. It allows me to grab any creature or land from the my sideboard. And if have infinite mana available the Spawnshire of Ulamog ability will allow my to cast all the Eldrazi that are in the sideboard or if playing casual all the Eldrazi in my personal collection.

Living Wish
Sorcery, 1G (2)
You may choose a creature or land card you own from outside the game, reveal that card, and put it into your hand. Exile Living Wish.

Hi Ahmet,

I've chosen to add Kokusho Evening Star (your limit of one creature per member) and taken out Chimney Imp (Imp was a silly suggestion that I said I would allow but now I'm turning deck into a more serious deck since it might go top 50) Thanks for input.

Yup, Maze doesn't stop creature from attacking it just stops it from dealing nor receiving damage as a result of combat.

Squirrel are fun! I'll put a squirrel's nest in the sideboard just for you.

If you like squirrels nest you might also like my

Infinite Life, Infinite Creatures, etc.... Deck which uses squirrel nest and earthcraft combo

or

Infinite Insects and Squirrel Bombardment Deck (infinite squirrels with without using squirrel's nest)

Hey buddysystem,

Like your Battlecry Deck after all the fixes. I'll have to make a go at a Battle Cry deck once I take good serious look at the new cards that have come out. Thanks for your support.

Hey sparki,

Did you know you can fling a phyrexian dreadnought before you have to sacrifice creatures to bring it into play, well I didn't until just a few minutes ago and I looked it up.

here's the ruling

Yes, that works. Phyrexian Dreadnought's second ability has been changed back to a triggered ability (instead of a static ability). You can cast Fling, sacrificing Phyrexian Dreadnought to pay the additional cost, just after that triggered ability is put onto the stack and before it resolves. When the triggered ability resolves, you can choose not to sacrifice any creatures (in which case the ability does nothing, since you won't sacrifice Phyrexian Dreadnought)

So maybe adding a few dreadnoughts to your deck might help.

I didn't know about Seething Song I'm thinking of to adding it to my deck Jujitsu Deck, which has some similiarities to your deck in it likes to fling big creatures you may want to check it out at Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=128231

Oh my Oh my. I just re-read Chimney imp it doesn't force opponent's creature to graveyard, but to top of opponent's library. Chimney imp may be one of the worse cards ever. 5 mana for a pretty lame ability.

Hey Sparki,

Yup, Draco is a silly choice for this deck, but I as I said in the deck description about creatures like "Phage the Untouchable (you lose game if you reanimate it) will be honored! The sillier the better."
so in went Draco. You've listed a bunch of nice creatures since nobody has been posting lately to this deck I'm going to break my rule of just 1 creature per member and add all of your suggestions. Thanks for the input.

Hi Nianque ,

I'm sort of happy to read you hate to play against this deck. It implies the deck is strong. Unfortunately,
its not as strong as I would like. Post the Reaper King deck if you can I'd like to look at it. I just glanced at all the various Scarecrows and I find the mixture of abilities almost as varied as Slivers. Thanks for input
