well tourneys are almost all standard, so it probably never could be. my versions are defenders to drag on the game with axebane guardian for mana ramp. circle of protection is an amazing card for sideboard (shut down their deck with only 2-3 in play) your boardsweeps are great, but i think that debt to the deathless is amazing, and maybe replace the urban evolutions with invoke the firemind?

hmmm. any note on how often it wins? i've made various atempts at this type of deck, and i feel axebane guardian is a great mana-fixer for these sorts of dcks. however, other iterations i made didn't work all to well, suprisingly.

well at least you don't have to pay your life for 1 stinking land! I know i'm being rather angrier than i should be but I like mana bases in my decks exactly right. paying life to get land is not exactly right.

added some awesome cards (other maze's end, mendomai the ageless, jeskai ascendency, more instants)
this deck has now assembled a 12-1 win/loss record in my area

hmm... it's standerd. that's nice. however, having more than 1 of a planeswalker may be a problem. when 2 jaces enter the field they both die. and why so many rares? i count 38 rare cards in here. so what, destroy opponent's creatures with lithning strike and counter their other spells with dissolve/negate?

why is ordeal of thassa single-handedly powerful enough to warrant the inclusion of blue?

why bother with flooded strand? it wastes your life and costs to much. get an azorius guildgate or something to save your precious life.

if standard is not an issue, then why not add some flashback? 2 casts for 1 card. or maybe dual spells with fuse.

p.s. could i get some help with my own deck? feels like it has potential, but isn't using it.

wow. broken. another deck i saw caused a turn 1 win with un-cards mixed with normal cards, and caused your opponent to do your chores and get you a free drink. this is a close second. terrifying.

edit: heres the address for that deck

how about knight of glory? exalted/protection from black. also, those rares are so powerful i'm suprised they're cheap enough to keep this budget. all your knights (in this case all your creatures) are indestructible. sheesh.

added a sideboard and decided to use guard gomazoa over wall of fog (it can avoid death by shock and can destroy smaller creatures like spirit tokens)

decided to use guard gomazoa instead of wall of denial (not fog bank), due to possibilities of destroying small flyers like spirit tokens. also added a sideboard.

hmmmm.. interesting.. however, i'll go with buried ruin over academy ruin. it's not a legendary land and is really much cheaper. then devastation tide due to the possibly cheap cost and the fact that it doesn't leave me totally defensless (for the wrath of god removal) as for fog bank, i'll have to think about it. in a rush so i'll udate the deck soon, just not immediately

I decided to try making my own variant on the ideas show above, so i made this. Not as pacifist as many may prefer, but it is effective.
