So I was thinking maybe Kor Spiritdancer? Since this is all about the auras, she could fit.
Awesome.

By the by... I finally got around to a budget $6ish Blue deck. Might have some mana issues. Dang counterspells, but the rough draft is up here:

Me neither. I think I'll keep it as is for now, though I was deliberating the Banshee Blade as a substitute for Armory of Iroas. Almost identical, except the counters remain with the blade instead of going on the creature. Nevertheless, I appreciate the feedback!
Just for grins I came up with another budget 6 white deck.

So true! I may have to put this together to play. Well, at least my version of it. Northy, great job.
I salute you. Like +1.

Well, its a bit late for me to contribute to the 15 likes, but I'll give one anyway. Like +1
I take it the concept is to do enough damage before the cards in hand run out. Have you considered a card-drawing component like Slate of Ancestry or Infiltration Lens?
Good Deck.

This is well conceived! Good job! I can only imagine the table full of counters and counters on counters. It is dizzying, but well worth it. Do you have any concern about a board wipe? This is an amazing synergy as it is, but would a ghostway help?

I think your black $6 deck would win as it is now. The black knights and gray merchants would kill.

i'm wondering if the moonsilver spear and 2 lands should go to bring 3 adventuring gear

I like it! White and Blue were my first favorite combo. This deck has a different tack than the ones I made. Less control, less counter, more buff and, by the looks of it, more fun! Good work!

If you get a chance to check out my $6 budget white, the feedback would be cool.

No worries! I put both in my shameless (though properly accrediting) imitation of this deck at:

Do multiple bloodlords of vaasgoth stack their abilities? Can you gain bloodthirst 3 multiple times?

Awesome deck! A quick clarification... why tormented soul and not pulse tracker? or maybe pulse tracker instead of ghul draz?
Thanks for posting it.

Interesting. I am a big fan of both lifelink and deathtouch. Have you considered basilisk collar? or vampire nighthawk?

You are right. Nykthos is unreal. what do you think of working in a "grab the reins" kind of theme. I think there are a few similar instants and sorceries of that type around. Might be an interesting way of approaching white and blue adversaries.

i think red might have problems against blue and white.
Was looking for mono red edh ideas. I like the general I have, but still trying to find an interesting approach (rather than just blasting).

Nykthos is amazing! Wow! The power concerns me in that it could throw the balance off. It is a great idea though. Man, that is impressive. The poor sap who doesn't draw it is in for a short game and long wait.
I looked up the MM storages. You are right in your assessment. I have the black one, but not the others.
I was thinking of switching out orangutan for idrik stomphollow. same ability, but is a beast, which fits the elf and beast theme.

So true! Once upon a time cards that did one thing ok would be enough. Now it seems like each card must perform multiple functions at a cheap cost to compete. So samurai become antiquated along with killer bees, glorious anthem, fountain of youth and a multitude of other cards of yesteryear. Nevertheless, I think within the confines of the 2 decks mentioned here, the samurai remain competitive. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks Shadow! You may be right about the duals... I think Isao is awesome, but in the end maybe unnecessary.
Im a little concerned about the big guys and the mana curve. my notion is to get a plains in opening draw and then have a land to put out every turn thereafter. The ninja deck has insane card draw, so im trying to balance it by having cards that do multiple effects.
Im gonna play test it tomorrow.
