For early game protection in red/black;
Consider Wall of Souls, and the red wall with aether in it's name that returns creatures to owner's hands.

That's a really nice deck.
.....if you're playing it - I wouldn't wanna comeup against it at all.

Any reason why you're only playing one Winter ORb?
I would've thought with a deck like this the Orb could make a very effective lock.

Any chance you could help me with my deck?
It's a Self-Mill deck that can win by turn 3, but it still needs work.

You deck really needs some more acceleration to get those fatties into play earlier.
How about some Cabal Coffers?
Or if you're willing to put in some weenie black creatures that serve a purpose, like Gatekeeper of Malakir, and sac them with Culling the Weak to get some mana?
I'd also consider swapping some of the swamps with Leechridden Swamps or dual colour lands for some more red. Malfegor will thank you.

One creature I would consider putting in as a target for Culling the Weak would be Anger.
Angry Demon's with Haste!!!!

Good Luck with the deck.

Any chance you could have a look at my Self-Mill Deck?

Self Mill without Laboratory Maniac? No Painter or Grindstone?
No Narcomoeba? No Dread Return?
If you're gonna self mill, there are lots of ways to do it.
But I'd consider a lot more cards like Frantic Search, Careful Study etc...

I've also made a SELF-MILL.
Mine is based on the Maniac.
Mine can win by turn 3 with a good draw, reliably win by turn 5.
I'd love some advice from anyone willing to have a look.

Yeah it could be annoying to play against.
But I'd try swapping the Mask's for Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots, as they're faster.

Here's my version of a similar idea.

Cool.
I'll have a look and check them out.

The main reason I don't have many cycling cards in here is speed. Basic's are in there mainly for that, whereas I only included some cycling to help with my combo.
I did try the deck with a whole lot of cycling lands, but found that if I draw the cards I need in my first draw, I lose tempo because of the ETBT effect.
Cheers.

Oh...Hadn't heard of that one - I don't tend to play Legacy very often.
I'll look it up - cheers.

Wow.

This deck is nuts - and it also looks very effective ;D
Do you actually have all the card to build it?

Honestly, I don't think I could improve on this, just the sheer number of tutor's will get around pretty much any discard/counter deck.
About the only thing I can think of that may help would be Sundial of the Infinite, to get you to your upkeep immediately once you drop the Wits.

Any chance you could help me improve my deck?

I have a deck based around Bloodchief Acension and Mindcrank.

But my deck is VERY different from this, literally every single creature can be sac'd to give 2 damage to the face, the fatties like Magma Phoenix do it without targetting. I include lots of global burn like Earthquake, Sizzle and Flame Rift too.
I use global spells to get around effects like the Leyline of Sanctity.

Considering you're not running Red, you really should be running Syphon Soul.
And with blue, you have access to unblockable creatures or spells.
My fave is Shadow Rift. Whilst Shadow isn't unblockable per se, no one plays shadow creatures, and you get a cantrip.
Unblockable is Waaaaaaaaaaayy better than Intimidate or Fear, as many people play black.

Include some tutor, like Demonic Consultation (cos they're cheap) to find those Bloodchief Ascenion's, or some transmute cards to get your combo pieces.
Maybe even include some more card draw in there like Rhystic Study or Mystic Remora.

Have you considered "Sundial of the Infinite"?
This could be a way to stop your opponent doing anything, from bouncing/removal/beating face etc.

Any chance you could take a look at my deck, maybe suggest some improvement?

True Dat.
They're both very solid options. I like Fog Bank a lot. ;D

My original idea used Wall of Tears and Wall of Frost, LOL, so I'm not too far off.
I found by using Owls, especially Augury Owl and Owl Familiar, I was able to get better consistency at the expence of defence.
In a duel, I can almost completely ignore the opponent unless they have some incredibly nasty combo deck. In multiplayer I have serious trouble defending myself, but a Propaganda is such a loss of tempo that It seems to dissuade attacker's before turn 4. In general though,
I think this deck has such a risky combo, the quicker I power it out the better - otherwise I'm toast to counter and removal.

Nice deck - yeah Stony Silence is a solid sideboard option.
Considering all the small token's coming out onto the board, have you consdiered Mentor of the Meek as a card darw engine?

And could you take a look at my deck?

Yeah I've been working on it for a while. Been trying to get a deck that costs less than $50 win a Multiplayer game in 5 turns or less. This one is fast, but it's also quite vulnerable..not too sure how to make it more resilient without making it take at least 2 more turns to get the win.

Any idea's?

Your deck needs to think about likely threats.
I'd get rid of any creature that doesn't help your mill, and replace them with something like Propaganda.
Spells should be about achieveing your win-con and supporting it only.
Choose the 4 most important cards in your deck and focus everything else to make them work quickly.
Cards like Belltower Sphinx are conditional, as you need to assume your opponents' defence *may* be too strong for you to get through.
Nice idea - cut it down to 60 and you'll no doubt have some fun.
