yeah, I kindof did the same thing. I made an Izzet mill using Chandra and Forgotten to dump your hand twice a turn. Plus an alternate wincon.

Could you do a Thraximundar EDH deck? I'd like to see your take on it. Or a Mill EDH, that would be cool too.
Any suggestions? Especially for the sideboard
Any suggestions?
Hey, could you check out my recent mill decks and give me a few suggestions on how to improve them? It would mean a lot! Thanks!
Ohh, okay, that actually makes sense
In that case, why not just put 4 swamps in in place?
I gotchuhttp://www.mtgvault.com/wickeddarkman/decks/talent-of-the-telepath/
Why not replace Verdant Catacombs for Evolving Wilds or Terramorphic Expanse?? They do the exact same thing, but you don't have to pay a life. (and they don't cost 300$ per playset)
I do love me some manic scribe, the only problem is the constant returning. Actually, now that I think about it... every time he enters, they mill... he's not to bad after all... I shall fit him in somewhere. Thanks! And I've already added Mage-Ring Network in, thanks for that one!
Nice! I love your take on it. The black splashes in well. One thing I personally would do, I'd cut the Dragonlord's Prerogative - too expensive for a draw, even if it is draw 4 - for something like Catalog, or a counter spell. (Clash of Wills is my favorite, but Invasive Surgery, Dispell, or Psychic Rebuttal work as well)
Sweet! Thanks for the advice guys!Wicked: Yes, me and my friends are pretty new, I only started about 3 years ago, but never got really into it until recently (4ish months ago), and recently, I've been pretty obsessed with building a killer standard deck. This is just another attempt at that. Oh, that fits in your comment on noxious revival. That would be an amazing card in this deck, it really helps, but it's not standard. :( I would love to fit it in a modern/non-standard version of this deck, so I may try that soon, or you're welcome to!I've modified the sideboard to fit 4 of the Talent of the Telepath in, as per your suggestion, as well as cutting a Jace for a TiTI(as also suggested by Dagger). The biggest reason I had Jace in there is because I realllllllly love him, but I understand why he can be cut, and agree. Again, thanks for the advice!
What about Thalia's Lieutenant? Works well with other humans.also Unruly Mob
Okay, I pulled this straight from the gatherer ruling section."Beacon of Immortality’s effect counts as life gain (or life loss, if the life total was negative) for effects that trigger on or replace life gain (or life loss)."So it would trigger Tainted Remedy, thus resulting in an insta-win.
Does that matter tho? Cause tainted remedy just says IF a player were to gain life, they lose that much instead. Technically speaking, doubling your life is gaining life.
Is the beacon of immortality an insta-win here? It says it doubles their life total, but it doesn't specifically say that they gain life. What happens with that?
Reminds me of my r/g werewolf deck. My deck uses the same concept (buffing a creature then double striking him to win), it just relies on trample instead of returning creatures to force the damage thru. I like it, nicely done.
Any suggestions? especially for the sideboard, I could use lots of help for this one.
