From the new Conspiracy (Take the Crown). I haven't looked at it much, either, but she came up when I was searching for R Legendary critters.

Queen Marchesa and/or other "You become the Monarch" cards might be fun...Royal Assassin fits w/ the latter. :)

How in the name of Creation do you still have cards you started playing w/? I started playing w/ 5th edition, too, but I don't have ANY of those cards anymore (much to my chagrin). I never had the really good ones, anyway (ie, the ones that kept their value or increased it), but when I'm in my cups, I still wax sentimental over Wolverine Pack...brings a tear to my eyes, it does. ;) :/? -.-

What a lively discussion! And all very interesting! For anyone reading this who isn't aware of how the US electoral system works when electing a President (sad to say, that would include too many US citizens), what really matters is the Electoral College vote. A candidate can win the popular vote & still lose the election if they lose the EC vote (the most recent example of this was Gore vs. Bush, aka George W.; Bush lost the popular vote but still won the election, as he won the EC vote). EC votes, w/ the exception of 2 states - Maine & Nebraska - are winner take all, so "bush league" candidates essentially have no chance whatsoever. Also, we have a Supreme Court Justice to be appointed right now & another in about a year, & that fact right there will sway MANY votes. With the system set up the way it currently is, my own particular vote won't likely make a difference, as I currently reside in a deep blue state (which is where my own sentiments lie), but I'll still vote, just because I can, & that freedom must never, ever, ever be taken for granted. But as someone who is FIRMLY in the "never Trump OR Pence" camp, I strongly urge others who feel the same way to get out & vote, particularly if you live in a "swing" state. "This message hasn't been approved by anyone...except my own sweet self." :)

@Stormtide: Is the UK deck a Brexit deck, a Colonial deck, or what? Any way it goes, I'd like to see it. :)

You know good & well that if scb actually builds this deck, WE'LL end-up having to pay for it...I don't know if I'm willing to shell-out more taxes so scb can play mtg. ;)

I believe that, as the creature isn't specified as being sacrificed, shroud gives protection. +1, love a cool "old-timey" deck. :)

And mcflyguy, even if he were...do you think that would give you bragging rights? How so?

Not so horrible that I didn't hear you...you too, Drake. There's no real debate here, to begin w/...baiting, maybe, but not debate. So let's just end it, here & now. Nothin' but LOVE for you ALL...but mcflyguy, you need a talking to. (Just my opinion.)

Viagradino, please be more specific (for my edification, sincerely)...what is so fragile about it? Oriss isn't the only "shut down" factor...there's also Abolisher & Kami, & the ability to bring them back...over & over again. I freely admit, I can be both blind &/or stupid t times (the former, the result of getting older, the latter, probably genetics), but I seriously don't see what is so fragile about all this...ENLIGHTEN ME!!! (please)

Stormtide, just repeating the message here, in case you miss it on "Temur Badger Rage"...for a list of decks featuring less-than-mainstream tribes, look up, "Tribal challenge! Whats yours?" by zaklax13. Happy hunting! (I'm about to go check out the elephant one myself!! :D)

@stormtide, look up a deck called, "Tribal challenge! Whats yours?" by zaklax13. There you will find a list of "obscure tribes" decks.

I've never been that much of a fan of tokens, especially "weenie" ones...that said, I really like this deck. O.O Not sure about Trostani or Emma...I tend to agree w/ nerddude on those, & if he has experience w/ token decks, he's got me beat, since my only experience w/ them has been occasionally having my butt handed to me by one. ;) I like Ajani here, but I'd like him better if there were more of him, to make it more likely you'll get him out. :) Rootborn Defenses comes to mind, maybe in the SB at least against control. I'm on the fence about Assemble the Legion, but I see the value of it, for certain...so as long as it doesn't screw w/ your mana-base too much, seems good. I think like tleung said, run some fetch- & shock-lands to be sure you get what you need when you need it. Overall, though, looking good; hope that you enjoy it! :) +1.

Unfortunately, Steely Resolve gives shroud, not hexproof...which would mean no immense, raging badgers (honey badger SAD). :'( That is a pretty cool card, though, if you build around it.
