Yeah it's a really good deck. That Demigod card is very hard to deal with. When I put this deck against my standard deck I got rid of twoDemigod cards the first game and almost won but you got that thrid one and all three were back. That was with in 10 turns. The second game I lost flat out. Pretty good stuff. I wouldn't say it was the best red black deck but it is a realy strong deck.

I put this deck up against my deck it held its own. The only thing is there is not enough creatures. Your deck did a great job at taking out my land but not before I got one creature out. And once that happened I would just run through you. The second game I played against your deck, your deck went trhough all but 3 land Destruction cards left and two creature cards left, somewhere. That game you got me down to 4 life, it was a really good game. I had held you off that game, once this deck gets 4 or 5 lands it goes to work taking out land. If my deck did not have so muc land you would have fully stopped me. It also does a good job of getting land.

Silence, Gitazian Probe, Vapor Snag. All really good card. They go well with this deck. Meddling Mage is good. Maybe think about adding Nevermore to the deck. Zealous Guardian is also a really good creature for this deck. The other creature should be replace with better creatures. Glasses of Urza, you should add two more of those. Being able to look at the opponent's hand is really good and more so with this type of deck.

If he puts in another counterspell in place of mana leak I will still take them out or force him to counter the spells I am using to take those cards out with. Playing this type of deck he need a minimum of 8 counter spells. And as I said before the main weakness of the deck is that he has no real creature I would just take the only card that can damage me out of his hand and deck. Once I did that I would in effect win the game. I have a black sun in my deck so I wouldn't lose by decking. He needs more creatures in the deck because every time I would go up agains this deck I would just take out that 1/1 he has and that would be all she wrote.

I like this deck because there are so many ways you can go with it. Take out a few of the creatures and add a few more spells. There a standard card "Reverberate" it cost two reds. "Copy target instant or sorcery spell. You may choose new targets for the copy. This can act as another counter or you can use it with spells, such as, Heroes Remembered. This is just a tip to show you things that you may have not noticed.

I'm always looking at other deck because it gives me great insight to what other people are doing. There is two main weakness to this deck. You assume your opponent will attack. When I 'm playing blue I slow-play it I wait until I have six land and that is normally the sixth or seventh turn. Because I normally play around 50% land. Also when playing against blue I make sure I use cards such as Despise and Praetor's Grasp. With these cardsI would take out your counters or creatures (most likely your creatures). You would be forced to use your counters on these cards. Isochron scepter is good but you only have mana leaks I will pay the extra 3 mana. Once all your Disruptive Pimages are gone I would just roll over you. Really the only way your deck does damage is by creatures. So if someone takes out all your creature than your fucked.

You can take out a few cards to make room for Apostle's Blessing too. The point of his deck is to clear the way of any creatures so you creatures can come in and do that infect. Apostle's is one of the ace in the hole cards. If you have it in your hand it can win games for you.

You have some of the best shadow cards in that deck. Any deck is going to be good when you put the best into it. But still even a standard deck and win against this deck. But I'm not saying it would be an esay task to do. That sword of Light and Shadow, man, that's a killer in this deck.

He's only playing cards he has. And that's the way it should be. I have a life gain deck too, (standard) and so I know what cards are good and what cards are not. He's has good cards in there but needs to knock out others. Think about putting in Suture Priest. For life gain you need more things that are going to keep the opponent from hitting you. When I go to a random place to place I'm always playing standard just so it's fair. You can make a standard life gain deck but it will cost you bucks that's the only draw back. And Ruin Ghost is deadly combo with those lands that gain you live and with that Sunspring Expedition. These are just a few tips that will make your life gain that much more bad ass. Good work keep it up.

This is a strong deck and in fact I played against a deck just like this not to long ago with my mono black infect. The only thing that slowed me down with Melira, Sylvok Outcast because my creature would no longer be infect but in the end I was able to get through and win all the game in an average of turn 7. The one thing that this deck needs is more Darksteel Plates. You need to protect your creatures. Gideon would be knocked out. In fact the person I played add 3 more after losing the first game. Black Sun's are good against creature based decks. I don't know if you should have four of them in the deck. The amounts of land is good, however, those non-basic lands are slow. Aside for the thing I have talked about the deck is good. But this deck is more slow then it seems.

Yeah man, it's a good idea but it's not going to work you need more mana. I too also have a mono black deck and I run a minimum of 25 swamps when I play it.

Good deck the best card in the deck is Ruin Ghost. There are cards that can untap that card. Primeval Titan is great but if he comes out I'm going take him out before he can attack and so with the best players in the game. Lotus Cobra is a goner too, and Birds of Paradise too. These three card are very popular and as soon as you play one of them they know what kind of deck you are playing. Now on the other hand Ruin Ghost is a guy that is not that popular and when you play him it won't give away your strategy. This type of deck you are making could be a power house.
