I'm a big fan of discard deck. You should add the blue and black planes walker. The is because you will need a way to mess up the other guy's plan if you want to win using a deck like this. If you like playing competitive standard decks that have a non standard win condition check out this deck:http://www.mtgvault.com/vines/decks/visionary/

Youbring up a good point. So how does this deck have so many like. It gets smokes by most decks out there. I just don't get it. There is so much more problems than that though. Play this deck against real people and you will see what I mean.
Not enough creatures. This leave you open. The draw card is the best card in the deck. Other than that not much going for it.
In speed decks like this one I find it takes too long. Also why does this deck have so many likes? There are so many better aggression decks that you can make now that born of the gods is out. This new set comming out can and should change standard big time.
I'm a fairly new player so I don't know about a lot of the cards that go back more than 2 years or so. But I can say this deck doesn't beat infect. Or a discard deck. Or a deck with a lot of creatures. I get it this deck was meant as a joke. Haha very funny.
He must have a lot of friends that vote for his decks.
Oh yeah what's it's name? I'll give it a look. I already have one green one drop that targets two creatures in the deck. But a buff cadd that is a one drop and targets two creatures would be great.
I like theme. Maybe add a little more to bring creatures back. Other than that seems good.
Over all good deck. Try putting in Nightveil Specter in place of Deathcult Rogue. I have to admit Deathcult Rogue is a way cooler name vs. Nightveil Specter. You can using Nightveil to play other guys lands and then use their land to play their creatures that Nightveil has exiled. If you want to have this deck preform at the top level add a mass removal spell. I think replacing the Diabolic Tutors for mass removal.
When I was first learning I was told the upkeep came before every. So many people that just give out wrong info. That is way better that way. The other way it made some cards unplayable. Eith way the combo still works.
Mutagenic Growth, lol you were talking mess about it and then you have it the deck you told him to go take a look at. So troll of you.
Its cause you're a dick that gives people negative rep. That's my guess.
If I were playing this deck I would add 4 more land--2 more at the every least. And I'm not trying to change his deck. I think for this deck I have given the best advice I could. I'm not going to tell him to put in cards that change the feel of the deck.
That artifact is still very useful. With Mutagenic Growth you can pay two life then equip Whispersilk Cloak. In this type of deck you would only want one and two at most in the deck. It goes with those times you have only one creature out but you only need four more 4 more infect. The other guy has a 3 or 4 creatures on the grounds. And you only have five mana out and with a Mutagenic Growth in hand. Then you draw whispersilk. this scenario Mutagenic Growth and Whispersilk Cloak will make the win possible. This type of thing will happen when playing this deck as it only has 22 lands. As for putting in a Giant Adephage in a lot of cases many black and blue decks will take out your many of your early creatures so this deck will need something that can defend and at the same time end the game one or two turns. You clear have not as much experience with these types of decks. I'm giving good advice to a player asking how he or she can better the deck.
I like the deck. Playing infect, there is one thing you have to know. People will do anything to block and or kill your creatures. That means your creatures need trample and protection from spells. You already got stuff in sideboard that can help with that. As for the pretection from spells, Whispersilk Cloak. Mutagenic Growth is a card should think about replacing with giant growth. And this deck can find its self creatureless due to creature removal. So it would be great if a buff card could act as a blocker to slow the opponent down just even to let you get to your creatures. That's where Slaughterhorn comes in. My next point, getting to your creatures and making sure you always have a creature to play. Get rid of Tricks of the Trade and in it's place put 3 Gitaxian Probe. This card will allow you to get to creatures and that powerful green enchantment. And the last thing I want to talk about. Some times things just don't work out so in those cases you need a back plan. Giant Adephage will make good on a back up plan. So having one or two of these back up plans in your spell book will throw your opponent for a loop. However, if you find your self needing to play the back up plan, try to cast it when their mana is tapped.
I like the deck. Good job. It has given me an idea, for a standard deck. And when you make it a little better it win be very hard to win against. The only bad thing is it is very hit and miss at times. All it takes it two okay draws and you could be done.
It is legal in standard. Maybe I'm missing something. What makes you think is not legal? A tip give your deck a name. You say you play to win then give your deck a winning name. The you're running is a good deck, however, it's a type of deck that everyone has seen and knows. Also it is a popular type of deck right now so a lot of players will have things in their book of spells to deal with this deck. When I go and play I'm alway finding myself going ham on people. If it wasn't for the fact that I offer draws I would have a very high win rate. The reason for my success is because I play decks that have been dismissed or over looked. The key to making a winning standard deck is first by looking at all the cards that are standard. Then pick out the cards that are least check or hampered by other standard cards. Also build a deck that has a win condition that is very difficult to counter. The traditional path to victory, get them down to 0, is easily countered. A lot of cards heal or stop damage. A better win condition that is do-a-ble is to mill your opponent's deck. There are only are a few cards in standard that can counter this type of win.
What? Were you the one that played me that game where I casted 10 mutilates and a shit load of other removal spells? Lol sorry bro it had to be done.
Did you really play this deck? I ask because you realize elixirs and the draw spell take the play of snapcaster and a better at too. Yeah most of the decks I face had got me down to low life in the first few turns. Some even got me down to one life. I've had gold, luck with it. As I said before it doesn't do well again non standard deck. In good I played casted over 10 mutilates. And that was just that removal card. Maybe I was just getting really lucky the games I have played.
I don't think there are a lot of cards in standard that do that.
