oh dang, i didnt even notice that. haha

yeah for sure, im down with the edh idea. you should do some research on legacy though. because once you play legacy magic you'll never look at other format the same again. its just so crazy and overpowered and fun
trollking, my friend relax have some fun its gonna be ok i know no deck you or i build will ever come close to the perfection and majesty of this deck. and that, its rather sad to think about such a hopeless and bleak future, but alas, the truth is the truth.. and as they say, sometimes the truth hurts
touche my friend, touche
good stuff! might be a little slow rolling waiting till turn 6. maybe squeeze in some soul lands like ancient tomb/ crystal vein, or some lotus petals, or even azorious signet to help ramp into stuffy doll?
expedition seems good. explore seem sub par but i can see how it could work? lotus cobra, i think would be a great addition. ramping like mad into titan and wurm
i agree 100% all that card is doing is diluting your strategy
Wooded Foothills ^_^
you dont think it would be fun to actually be able to play channel? every deck doesnt need to be competitive. im all about competitive legacy, and i truly believe the legacy format to be the best test of skill magic offers, but fuck it, if you have friends willing to play with banned cards, why not? magic is a game to have fun with after all, right? and come on. be realistic. this deck, is nothing like making a deck with 4 black lotus. A. no body actually owns 4 black lotus, and B. im pretty sure this is meant to be a fun, cool deck. to enjoy playing cards you cant normally use anymore.
GAME SET MATCH. red deck losses.
hmm.. emrakul costs 15 so after a t1 channel/ extra turn/ attack/ both players have 5 life.. um.. what 1 mana red spell does 5 damage?
pirate ship??
looks very good. i noticed after lots of testing of my NO show build, terastodon wasnt that great. i kept running into scenarios where i would want to NO into progenitus, but the one copy in my deck was already in my hand, so i would have to bring out terastodon... and EVERYTIME, he got doombladed, or swordsed, or removed one way or another and it left me sitting there with nothing. so yeah, id drop him, maybe sideboard material but really all your using him for is to kill things like ensaring bridge. might as well side krosan grip or something more reliable. do you really wanna waste your combo to destroy a bridge, only to have you opponent play go for the throat on your terastodon? maybe you could help me on my build? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=399711
top notch NO rug. obviously now mentall misstep is banned, but other than that this deck is looking great/ not much i can suggest maybe you could help me with this build? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=399711
switch your duels to revised duels to fix the estimated deck value. looks good though i would drop counterspell for something cheaper like spell pierce/ dispel/ flusterstorm other than that this list looks tight maybe you could help me on my build? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=399711
i would drop augery owl and the walls for more counterspells. and not the counterspell. but force of will, spell pierce, dispel, or flusterstorm. the defense of the heart combo is pretty nasty though, although against some decks it may take a minute to heat up. also your running any cantrips at all, which is a terrible decision. you need some combination of brainstorm/ponder to keep things consistent and help find the cards you need. maybe you could help me with my build? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=399711
unfortunately im not too familiar with modern, but this deck looks sick. i know how potent valukut can be >:D buut i feel like you should just scrape up the money for scapeshift, because that card is way to brutal in these builds. can you play the real fetches in modern? you should probably work on getting those as well. evolving wilds just doesn't cut it in a competitive format. those are going to slow you down way too much
like you said, no frills or protection. but still, a cool theme and interesting deck. in order to make it competitive this needs alot of work, but i dont think thats what your going for. so.. i can dig it ^_^
iv done extensive testing with this, and for a while a ran 1 progenitus 1 worldspinewurm, but soon realized the worm has no real protection, and in almost every case progenitus was a safer way to seal the deal. both cards take 2 turns of swinging to win, except progenitus is much harder to deal with. also i ran into the problem of having progenitus in my hand when i wanted to play NO. so after lots of testing i took the wurm out for another pro. and worst comes to worst. pro can get pitched to force
the problem those decks have are with consistency. in order for those decks to work they NEED show and tell. that gets discarded or countered and there whole game is over. have natural order and show and tell gives me more options and much much much more consistency. also running 2 sets of mana dorks almost ensures t2 show n tell or natural order. the sneak show decks, while they run 8 enablers as well, have to clutter there decks with big creatures to sack off with sneak attack and end up diluting the deck of its protection, and they run into the problem of comboing off, and still not sealing the deal. my buddy plays a UB omnitell deck and its fucking crazy. but he spends so much time trying to find show and tell most times, hes a sitting duck. or if his combo gets disrupted thats it. with this, if my combo gets disrupted, chances are im finding another combo piece asap and trying again. the consistency of this deck is staggering
