I'm afraid you are all wrong on that case.
Cos I did the test for level 1 judge and protection doesn't mean it can not be the target of an indirect spell or ability as is this case. The enchantment is not targeting the permanent since the enchantment itself is the target of an ability. Besides as clearly stated by the guildmage's ability it is the enchantment that is the target.

If you guys don't believe me I undrestand I failed the test cos of a stupid question like this.

i forgot they all have trample srry.

And why would the deck be slow with the Martyr? You don't need more than 3 cards in your hand.
Plus with the cube you can play its ability more than once.

Anyway it is your choice my friend I just gave you a suggestion.

What can you do?

Here is a better combo for you: Martyr of Spores, Resize and Doubling Cude.
Try also playing primal Rage.

On the whole nicde deck.

Nice deck.

You guys are really funny.
I managed to make a shield from 20 Disciples of the Vault kinda neat actually, too bad i got damaged by someone who doesn't appreciate the creature. :(

HellfireWolf

You did a great effort trying to base a deck around Progenithus don't worry.
Hope to see more of your decks in the future.

The Wall is there to stall for as long as it takes.
There are cards in this deck which allow me to search for both creatures and enchantments so I wouldn't take too long.

The lands would be a problem I think. (need to test it out)

An interesting concept but as the others said he can not be touched.
I'll try and find a solution to this problem keep watching for my decks.

On the whole great effort.

Here are a few cards you should definitely see: Coat of Arms, Elvish Vanguard, Wirewood Pride and Timberwatch elf.

Other than that good combo.

Smc1215 I can't get enough of your comments. lol

You are right about the search but I'll leave that option for extended and vintage players to decide.
So far as it goes, on Lackey, this deck has trashed my Saproling deck at least 10 times.
And that deck has the potential of wining on turn 5.

When you have played magic for so long you would like to give your experience to the next generation.
Since I'm the only one of the older players who used to go and play regularly.

I have modified the deck from the previous version with a few extra cards.
The sideboard is there just in case but the general idea still remains.

Thanks smc1215 again for your contributions.

Hey smc don't worry about the comments the more the merrier.

The door trick actually works since it will be in play before I play the finks from my hand.
After I persist it will return without any counters on it due to its ability that is the point.
I know that I have to play finks from my hand in order to get the counter on the door.

Door of destinies may seem out of place but it works really good once you persist the finks.

A better card than the meteor is Volcano hellion which is less expensive and far more devastating.

Very nicely done.

The idea is that you put research on the scepter and play creatures with unearth.
You bring them back into the library and the rest is all plain sailing.

Plus there is the surprise in the sideboard.

In actual fact Pariah's Shield states all damage so yes even that from spells, mana burn and trample is transfered on the equipped creature.

Check out this deck: Paradox Deck
