This probably has no real bearing on your deck, but I think that if you needed lifegain, Dawnglow Infusion couldn't steer you wrong, since you gain X life with it, and if both green and white mana were used to pay for X, you get 2X life instead.

Maybe a Joraga Treespeaker or two could help. Or better yet, an Elvish Archdruid. It gives all elves the llanowar's ability, and powers them up.
I'll definitely see what I can come up with. Especially since this massive group brainstorming/suggestion box was your idea to begin with.
Looks fun.
In contrast to the above post, I'd like to say, I've got similar ideas about the potential power of elf decks, and I was wondering what you might think of my own elf deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=151019 I just want to know if you think it looks playable, or if there's something more that should be done to it. I do have about every card in it except Omnath (including Emrakul, hence tha mana accel).
This alone inspired me to try making an elf deck of my own. I know it might be rude to just ask you out of nowhere to look at my deck, but I'd really like to know from an obvious expert elf-deck user if it could work out. Do you have any reccomendations? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=151019
Thanks. As soon as I figure out what would be good to put in instead, I'll update this.
Not without lands, you don't. May I assume the presence of about 18 Islands and 6 Mountains?
Have you tried Mind Funeral? Or, try putting in a couple Dimir Aqueducts, so you can keep your Hedron Crabs' Landfall ability going? That's about all I can think of for now.
Just a quick question- my friend's deck, posted as "Life Eternal" wiped the floor with my best deck, and I've got an Emrakul, so would anyone mind taking a look through this deck and letting me know if it could stand up in a match? (Just as a precaution, before I go and buy the rest of those rares) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=151019 Thanks.
THIS is the deck which killed off my Midnight Sun... but wait until I finish it up with that Cradle of Vitality and three more Nip Gwyllions.
Thank you for the feedback (and so quickly too!) I get that advice with a lot of my decks, so I am definitely going to take it to heart this time. Your input is very much appreciated.
Thank you for the offer to the community in general. I'd really appreciate it if anyone wanted to take a look through my current deck, since I could use some suggestions on how I could make this deck more solid, especially against other lifegain decks. I got up to 100 life and still lost, so if anyone can help me find what this deck is missing, that would be fantastic. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=138651
This is a really solid burn deck so far, I think. I still have a few card suggestions to increase the damage this deck does, which I hope you will find useful: Fire Servant (Mana cost is not exactly low, but it doubles the damage by red instants and sorceries) Stigma Lasher (Not too strong, but can stop a lifegain deck completely if left unblocked even once) Quest for Pure Flame (For 1 red, it doubles an spell's power after you deal damage 3 times)
That sounds like some solid advice, which I will definitely be taking. I appreciate your input and I'll keep it in mind as I build future decks as well. As for the other day, no problem. We all have our off moments, and it was at least nice to know I'd finally made a deck that someone felt was worth commenting on. On a different note, I like your new burn deck, and found a few cards that might magnify its damage potential quite a bit. I'll post them on the deck's comments just in case they'll be helpful.
Nice deck. The defenses are solid, and the Knight Exemplars are a great addition to the deck, I think. I wonder if there's anything to be done to help my own B/W deck get stronger...
To buff up your creatures, I'd have to say that Cradle of Vitality on anything with your lifegain would be Eldrazi-killingly powerful, and I want to suggest Shield of the Oversoul for Oracle of Nectars. Cradle of Vitality is rare, but the Shield is actually a commom, so that would be cool to put in there, since it gives white creatures flying and makes green creatures indestructible. How does that sound for your lifegain deck?
Decent-looking deck. Although I am wondering, is there a specific reason for the Arid Mesa cards in the deck, when only one type of land is used to begin with?
Neat idea. I'd like to see this kind of deck in use, because you're right: it looks fun.
I just played my first game with this deck a couple nights ago, and even though I still need 3 more Nip Gwyllions and a Soul's Attendant, I got to over 100 life in not too long of a time. Even incomplete, this deck only lost in the end to a tournament-quality lifegain deck, which is pretty good until I remember that if I'd paid attention the time I got Diabolic Tutor and went for Sanguine Bond rather than Edge of the Divinity, I might have finished that match quickly. Either way, I recommend this deck highly to those who know how to use it to the fullest. The last game ended with me taking over 20 damage per turn but still healing and inflicting more with just 2 creatures.
