Splashing in red for Assemble the Legion and Purphoros could be fun too. But I probably wouldn't run them in this deck if you're focus is on competitive modern.

Nice! I love the twist on this deck! i'm tired of seeing the traditional splinter twins and Grixis twins.

So, since you don't have counterspells, what's your plan to protect your combo from a kill spell? I was thinking Apostle's Blessing, Brave the Elements, Emerge Unscathed, or Gods Willing. what do u think?

So why sword of fire and ice specifically? why not one of the other swords? or did you just kinda throw that one in there?

Hey, when you get back, could you do something a lil out of the ordinary for me? Could you make a non-budget Modern 4 color Zoo (all but blue)? :P Zoo is one of my fav kind of decks. thanks! and don't have too much fun w/out the internet ;)

And to go along with that, if you have the money, get bloodstained mire. It'll help thin your deck out.

How about Increasing Savagery, Tuskguard Captain, Sporeback Troll, Sandsteppe Mastodon, Bow of Nylea?
I think you really need Vorel in here and maybe an Ætherspouts (or Ætherize) or two.
A nice deck finisher would be to throw in a Contagion Engine (probably only one since it's budget).
I'm not sure how much Prime Speaker Zegana or Avatar of the Resolute, but they're good too.

Oh sorry, i meant don't use both at the same time. just use one. I forgot to say that I would personally just use Perilous Vault. There are better 3-drops than Banishing light.

I wouldn't run Perilous Vault and Banishing light in the same deck, especially when it's a control deck. You may accidentally do things to yourself. I'd put in maybe and ojutai, anger of the gods, end hostilities, or secure the wastes instead.

I see, i'm not too familiar w/ WoW and D&D unfortunately. Once upon a time i did a starwars version of D&D w/ some friends, but that's about my entire expirience.

What do you think of putting in a Creeping Tar Pit or two? I also think it's interesting you chose to put in Victim of Night. Does it work that well in modern?

If i'm not mistaken, you can't have Unmake or Flesh // Blood in your deck because your commander is Green and Black while Unmake has White and Flesh // Blood has Red (your commander has neither White nor Red)

You need Blasphemous Act in combo with Boros Charm and Soulfire Grand Master

Chromatic Lantern, Quick Silver Amulet, Elvish Piper, Descendants' Path, Diabolic Tutor, Crux of Fate, Cultivate, Explosive Vegetation, Shaman of Forgotten Ways, Asceticism
