Sorry, i was not meaning to use them in combo! I'm not that good with english, what i mean was a 2x of each of them...so Rush for Ball Lightining and Chaser, Frenzy for non tramplers creatures :P

Let me know how the playtest goes, i'm really interested in building this deck myself!
Thanks!

yeah i didn't notice at first about the fact Rush of Blood doesn't give trample, but nova chaser already tramples, and so i suggested it anyway!
And yes increasing vengeance wins on reverberate, i completely forgot it, so i said reverberate! thanks for the input!

Wow!!! Love this one, i suggest to pair Fatal Frenzy with Rush of Blood (you lose trample but there's no need to sacrifice your creature https://www.magiccardmarket.eu/Products/Singles/Avacyn+Restored/Rush+of+Blood) , maybe 2 of each.
I would try to play a couple of reverberate!

Man i got the fact that the main idea is feeding the Sigil Captain, but i made a proposal that i think still make sense. This said, is a suggestion or an idea and i was simply explaining why i PERSONALLY would give it a try. That's all.
And i carefully read comments and didn't find the "As has been stated many times before".

My "doesn't fit" was conditional and related to the fact you just want synergies with the sigil or not.

But saying "you are missing the point", well it sounds a bit too strong to me, since my idea was not: "hey take your deck and throw it out and just listen to me". I just suggested to swap 1 or 2 cards ;)

Anyway, no problems, we are here to discuss i guess! Good ideas in the final part of your comment, i could use them in some way, thanks!

i know it was explained in my previous comment Northy.
Despite of that i think it could be a nice addition. Because it buffs:

- his own tokens
- falconer
- traveler
- sigil captain
- Nomad's Assembly tokens.

And they also get vigilance, which is nothing to sneeze at.

I think it could be more effective in a lot of cases than increasing devotion. After a BF wipe for example, would you prefer a 3/3 and three 2/2 with vigilance or five 1/1?

Anyway, if you want everything to work in synergy with sigil captain, okey, CoftW doesn't fit.

Also i think that despite this fact Captain of the watch would work well in this deck, it bolsters the majority of your creatures alongside the token produced by Nomad's Assembly. I'd cut increasing devotion to 3 or 2, and replace it with the captain.

Honor of the pure gives +1/+1, so they ETB as 2/2, just to be precise.
And yes, the captain's effect won't work:
HotP has a static effect, while captain has a triggered ability. Static effects are applied before triggered abilities are. So the captain will see a 2/2 and will ignore it.
Same will happen for example with Captain of the watch!

this deck sucks, nothing to say :D
i'm still not a good deck builder, but at the time i've post it, well i was even worst...over the last 2 years i've learnt something! starting from the vault here!
But if i can say, you commented on two of my deck, but neve giving any suggestion or criticism, and this after i've commented on the emrakul stuff.
It sounds to me something personal, isn't it?

Hello Jessie, well i think your version of tricky emrakul is ok, if i'm not missing something your deck is not the kind of play him at turn 1 and "hello opponent go home now"!!
my comment was addressed to those above who were pushing the t1 combo :D

but it's just my opinion ;)

i actually don't see the pont of playing a deck like that!
emrakul turn1...

you won? yes.
was it funny? no.
did you actually play a game? no.
would i play again against you? no.

and not because i've lost, but because we did not play.

thanks a lot for your answer mate!
Honestly i was hoping something a bit more detailed. I got your SB explanation but i what i meant is something like, for istance, match against control : these in, those out.
I think this could help me in learning how to to deal with SB :D

About creatures in SB, why Deathbellow Raider?
Now i don't have in my mind the whole red 2cc drops for standard, but i guess Raider is not the only one out there!

And finally, Eidolon against aggro seems oke to me, but it also hurt yourself with every spell you cast, so i have the feeling it could be a problem for ya aswell? Am i missing something?

Wow i've found your article really interesting, and well written. For sure i will have a look at the others you wrote or you are going to write.
I'm playing mtg from since i was young, but always as a casual player, sometimes i partecipate to pre-release events, but nothin more than that, usually i play with friends.
So i'm not really a competitive deck builder, and when i start thinking about making a real competitive one i'm stucked. First thing i crash onto is that usually i don't buy cards, i just do some trading and not so often so my selection is not that huge. So the real point is making something good with what i have :D
Anyway i keep trying.
Anyway, i wrote this message just to ask you an explanation about SB. I would like to know what replaces what, in which case and when not self-explanatory, why you do so!
Thanks in advance, hope you have some time for answring me!

Keep up the good job! ;)
