You could add in Galvanic Alchemist and pair it with Axebane Guardian. With four defenders out you have infinite mana production and could potentially play any card in your hand but the only downfall is that Alchemist will be cycling out soon.

Hey you two take that shit somewhere else. Omg you trolled my deck blah blah blah who cares. This site is supposed to help critique and improve peoples game and how they go about playing magic in general. So again take that shit somewhere else or on someone elses deck page I have no room for that nonsense here. Thank you so much for the spot in your blog. It means alot to me to be recognized and tied to this deck. I've read the entire blog and have to say congrats on the creation of it; it's quite a good read and I urge anyone who views this build to give it a read also. The one hiccup in it, if you will, is when you referenced my mtgvault name it was spelled incorrectly but other than that thank you for including me in your blog and best of luck on future blogs, I look forward to reading them.

Too many singles, try for playsets of cards you like and if the expensive lands are an issue to aquire try running Chromatic Lantern to help with mana issues.

The combo of Archaeomancer and Peel from Reality would do wonders in this deck. Also Nivmagus Elemental could work in this deck with the tempo you have going here.

I saw that combo rite off the bat and have to say.... I love it! Well let's be honest here its genius, a free flicker plus lifegain every turn off of it. If you want to pump that up any and increase the amount of lifegain you get out of that combo I'd suggest finding a place for, or sideboarding, Rhox Faithmeder. All in all though awesome deck, keep up the good work.

The way it works is you search for 3 creatures and reveal them. If they have different names choose one and shuffle the rest into your library but if they all have the same name keep all of them.

Oh and if you wanted to add Burning-Tree Emissary in you could add in Signal the Clans and potentially play Burning-Tree and Signal on turn 3 to fetch three creatures with the same name to your hand.

To counter these enchantments I would suggest Naturalize or possibly Pithing Needle if you have them because they are only a one drop. Anyway Naturalize is a 2 cost (1 generic 1 green) instant that comes from the 2013 coreset as well as Innistrad and Gatecrash.

At FNM, where I go, 3-2 on a less than par night. On a good night 4-1 and I've gone 5-0 a couple times.

The only thing is there isnt much control played where i go; mainly aggro variants.

Nevermore and Detention Sphere completely counter this deck. Possibly put a few cards in the side board to counter these enchantments.

Inquisitor's Flail is decent but its only good for one creature and would suck if you didn't have a pocket Boros Charm ready to go. If you want to go with a combo like that I'd suggest Curse of Bloodletting, Boros Charm, Boros Reckoner and Blasphemous Act combo. Hit your opponent for 26 damage outright and more times than not kill off all his/her creatures.

Another possibility is Desecration Demon. Which would force your opponent to sack off any creatures they do manage to get out inorder to prevent damage.

I would add in a discard factor to limit the number of cards in your opponents hand. I think that would make this deck pretty solid contender against some forms of aggro/control. Possibly Duress or Mind Rot; something of that nature, heck maybe even Nightveil Spector. All in all though great deck concept, keep up the good work.

If you are referring to Primordial Hydra a decent counter to him is Essence Backlash and for Alpha Authority I suggest Counterflux but Rancor you can't really counter because anytime it goes to the graveyard its returned to its owners hand. The only true counter to Rancor would be Rest in Peace but that is a white spell or possibly a lockdown spell like Spectral Prison. Heres a link to my izzet deck, might help you with a few ideas for your deck.
