If I come across something, I'll let you know. No guarantees though.

Some people, especially newer players, can't figure it out easily. Also, explaining it helps other people understand what direction you're going, which makes giving advice easier.
I'll post it eventually, just not now
As fun as that combo is, it requires 4 cards, with two of them being the same card, and another where you only have one copy of in the deck. There's a few was to get infinite mana without that many cards. Here's one that I stumbled across a while back that only requires two cards with little to no others:Elvish Archdruid + Umbral Mantle. This one requires three other elves out; three to use Mantle's untap effect, plus one more to gain extra mana from each time the Archdruid is tapped.Viridian Joiner + Umbral Mantle. This one requires two mana from somewhere else to start the loop, as Mantle grants +2/+2 with each untap, allowing the Joiner to start paying for its own untaps.Another use for all that mana that I like to add to my elf decks is Ezuri, Renegade Leader.
That is a semi-key card. Made to be awesome with, but still good without.
Not going into details yet, but its a take on Junk that a friend came up with
Honestly can't remember at the moment. I should get around to reconstructing the deck and posting it, but I have a WMCQ deck to prepare and test, so that may take a while.
I used to play Elves a lot before Origins, (stopped because I got bored of it) and I must admit that I took out Nettle Sentinel a long time before that. Nettle only really works well if you're playing the Beck half of Beck // Call combo Elf deck.Another card I took out was Elvish Visionary. Personally, I found that I drew enough mana sources and uses for the mana without the extra draw off Elvish Visionary.
Nice, I really like the theme. I tried to think about something to make this better while sticking with the theme, but nothing as of yet. Although, the cmc of a large number of your cards are quite high, and with only 22 lands, you may have a problem casting some of them. I suggest lowering the numbers of some of the 5+ mana cards to go up to 24 or 25 lands.
I like what you've done here, though explaining it in the Deck Description and / or the How to Play section would have been nice. I like it so much, I tweaked it :phttp://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/valakut-dredge/
I've been playing landfall / land ramp in Standard since Origins and I think you could use a few more efficient land search cards. Here's a few of my favourites:Search for Tomorrow Harrow Explosive Vegetation Khalni Heart Expedition (which you're already using) Kodama's Reach / Cultivate (You're already using Kodama's Reach)
I see Sigarda's Aid allowing one to get past annoying equip costs like Piston Sledge's "Sacrifice an Artifact"; high Equip costs, and to get the equipment effects as combat tricks (eg Cranial Plating on the unblocked creature). Also, seeing how you are cheating the equip costs, why not look at including equipment that have good effects, but are normally suboptimal due to the Equip costs.
Reason I ask is a friend runs a Quest for the Holy Relic deck and it can get 5 counters on turn 3, turn 2 if lucky. He uses Ornithoptor; Memnite; Glint Hawk; and Squadron Hawk to get the Quest counters quickly. But that's a deck relying heavily on the Quest. BTW, he likes to fetch Argentum Armor and put it on Ornithoptor :P
Eldritch Evolution exiles itself
Sorry, I only skimmed through the wall of text.
How reliant are you wanting to be on the Quest?
What's your thoughts on Gaea's Revenge? I know it's not the best one can do, but it is an 8/5 haster that can't be touched by most, if not all, of the commonly used removal in Modern. Abrupt Decay can't touch it because of its cmc, and Path to Exile, etc. can't target it because they ate not green spells.
ya, the one extra mana doesn't seem that great to me either
while that is not a bad idea, Thought Scour at least draws you a card. So it's a tossup between drawing a card for a once off mill yourself for 2 at instant speed; and an artifact that mills a total of 6, but with no card draw. ie: whichever you personally prefer.
Definitely not mainboard, I don't think it's necessary, nor does it work with the rest of the deck (imo). But maybe a couple in sideboard against control?
