Sounds wicked. I'm down for that jazz

Indeed. It's more of a pet project but I would love it if it worked. Might even try out a ptq if it's good enough

Sounds like what I'm doing. I'm currently trying to iron out the kinks in an 8 Rack deck that runs waste not. I've pretty much gotten the legacy version down, but I'm working on a modern alternative as well. The legacy one is brutal as fuck if it goes off

Cool. I've considered a lot of those for my sb but I just haven't finished tweaking it yet. I want to finish the deck first before I do that. That includes both the legacy and modern one

Agreed on the Leyline. Might have the orb as a sideboard option

Yeah it's like how I have kataki in my sideboard for affinity, but unless I have a godless shrine or Deathrite shaman it's useless

Yeah I already have the lands so it's not that hard to get the rest of the stuff. As for what to splash, if at all, I'm more comfortable with red or green, but blue makes for better discard and such. I'm planning to keep Spellskite in the sideboard for infect matchups, but I also have dismember for creatures and if I get really desperate, then decay is there too. Overall the deck should run fine but I've yet to really test it vs other competitive decks

looks good. ive debated splashing a third color if only for one card, but i wouldnt do it unless it was my legacy build, which runs deathrite shaman. otherwise it would likely end up as a dead card in hand without the right mana. im also a huge fan of rakdos builds, but abrupt decay is so good that i cant pass it up for something like this that needs noncreature threat removal, even if it is a tad limited in scope

yeah infect is pretty damn hard to survive against if its built right. i run B/G infect and it usually kills by turn 3, or turn 2 if im really lucky

By all means suggest what you would do. I'm not so stubborn that I won't at least mull things over first.

As for waste not, yeah it's kind of the key card here, but I'm getting it fairly consistently and the best part is when you get out a second one. Things tend to get crazy any that point, so you have to be careful not to deck yourself when it triggers your draw. It's literally a one card engine, which is why it's so damn good

See Tasigar's cruelty, waste not, and dark deal are what make the deck different. Each one feeds another and gives me stuff while keeping my opponent locked up with no hand.

Regarding Lily, I like the Dakmoor lock a lot, but where would I put her? Swapping in Dakmoor isn't hard, but I don't know where I would fit in Lily. I have the same issue with the legacy version.

Satyr Firedancer is beast in burn. I run it in my modern burn and it's so useful

Price isn't my concern with the deck. I want this thing to be tourney ready. As for the 4 dismember, it's more for threats that I just don't want to see. Doesn't matter what it is, this will hopefully kill it. Land has not given me any problems either, so I'm leaving it at 20

Me personally I like to use a dash of black. Nothing is funnier than attacking with a kiln fiend and then casting undying evil on it before the damage step and killing their blocker rofl

See I like Lily, but I don't know where to put her. The deck runs incredibly well but she is so good that I want to add her too
