i use phenax as my main mill option in my standard mill deck. just turtle with walls until you drop him and then go to town

i ended up forgetting about the prerelease here and now i cant afford to go. i can still get stuff after it comes out, but now i dont get to play with the new stuff early :(

as for my dragons, as bad as this sounds, im considering retiring them along with the rest of my decks. i have one friend who has a single deck, and all the people at the card shop i go to are all running current stuff, and i cant compete with it. i would rather devote my time to being that much better in magic since i know more people that play it over YGO. i can promise you one thing though. if you want a taste of what its like to play my dragons in magic, then try playing against this deck my buddy runs: http://www.mtgvault.com/razzan/decks/kingdom-of-thy-dragon/
it is just as brutal as my dragons are and just as dangerous. DO NOT write this deck off as an easy kill. ive seen it swing with over 50 dragons on turn 5.

just another thing i remembered. i have a G/B deck that will be running deathrite shaman and waste not, and one other card i will be using in it is words of waste. you might like it too

lol nice. yeah that sounds like some good decks. my buddy baeldares has a mean as F*** simic deck thats modern with a dash of legacy, if only for 1 card. if you ever want to meet up then just hit me up in the comments of any of my decks. i tend to check them a few times a day if im busy or more often if im not

i have about 15 or so of my own and if my friend (baeldares on here) brings all of his, thats an extra 20 decks. we would have you covered. most of what i have on my page isnt actually built myself, but my really good/favorite ones i have in reality. im not above loaning you a deck for some good times, plus we often like to get into the lore of the game while playing so its always a good time. in all truthfulness, it doesnt matter to me if you only have 2 decks, so long as we all have a blast playing :D

and for the record, look at budget decks on here if you want some good inspiration. northy has PLENTY to choose from, but i say make one you have already designed yourself. our group plays casual, but we dont have any super-crazy-expensive decks. some of them are powerhouses because of what they do, but they are relatively cheap

Go look at the gilder bairn combo breaker deck i made after this one. Its the more competitive version
