thanks for the comment :)

I have most of these cards except the Eidolons, so just wanted to make my take on the deck.

Your deck looks good, I personally don't like vexing devil so I will not use that.

Hi, thanks for your comment.
- Price of Progress is an incredible card in Legacy due to the many nonbasics. Though it seems many these days are running snow basics and astrolabe. It can reliably do 4-6 damage at instant speed. Its a stable in legacy burn.
- I agree that the curve is quite low for this deck and as such you could think that eidolon would hurt me more than the opponent, however the card is amazing against combo decks in legacy and to an extend also blue tempo decks. For the combo decks, it provides a very fast clock that punishes them for playing cheap cantrips and rituals. The blue based tempo deck will often have a clock that is slower than burns and their game plan rely on very cheap spells, making Eidolon effective against them as well.
- Goblin guide is one of the top three best burn spells printed. The possibility of an opponent drawing extra lands is not that big a deal considering the amount of damage Goblin Guide can dish out. If we reach a point in the game where the extra lands drawn for my opponent matter, burn will lose most likely anyway. Also a deck essentially trading card advantage for quick damage (the definition of the burn archtype) will never be able to win the card advantage battle; better to just maximize the quick damage by using cards such as goblin guide.

I would suggest adding some hand disruption and some kill spells. For hand disruption something like Thoughtsieze, Duress or Inquizition of Kozilek. The kill spells could be Doom Blade or similar.

1. I agree with detention sphere instead of O-ring; I simply dont have any detention spheres at the moment
2. I think Gideon Jura is a better creature controll card and a better finisher. That, in my opinion, makes him a better control card
3. Martial coup will mostly be cast for X=5, i.e the destroy all creatures is a very important part of the spell. I am debating replacing it with 2 more spot removal spells though.
4. I like tec edge more, due to the cheaper cost and the fact that it does not give the opponent a land.
5. I agree that Memorial of genius seems better, but I do not like the fact that it comes into play tapped. I might just play 2 more basics or maybe 4 flooded strands
6. I might try 2 paths. It is for sure a more effective removal spell than oust or condemn. I just dont like to give them an extra land early in the game

Thanks for your suggestions :)

Yes, but my opponent does 9/10 times have at least 1 non-basic and GR is a much better card then. Besides if not I can just not pay the kicker and its still a 2/1 haste.

It depends to much on what my opponent does. Besides Goblin Ruinblaster seems like a better version of that card anyway

everything witch destroys your opponents plan. If the opponent plays many spells something like duress, daze, mana leak. Its a way to protect your win conditions or destroy the opponents chance of winning.
Reanimator decks often play hand disruption like duress or Inquisition of Kozilek.

If you want a competetive legacy burn deck, then you must play goblin guide. It is entirely up to you, but in order to be competetive a legacy burn deck needs goblin guide.

the only creature who has a change to survive a stp is Iona and only if you are naming white. Besides theres no guarantee your opponent wont just kill you before you kill him. Vintage is pretty fucking fast
