I have one copy of Ill-Gotten Gains.
Put it in my red/black Liliana's Caress deck.
After having Caress in play, i play Gains to bring back stuff like Burning Inquiry to my hand. It is a nasty card. For sure.
I might try EDH one day. My biggest issue=no one to play against, in regards to EDH.

And I can do a deck around Gains/Waste Not. Sounds very viable.

Not seeing transmute 4, in blue, for this deck. What would be a good search engine, that is not broken?

Advertise away. It is people who post their deck links on here, without giving out advice on my decks.
I do the same thing, i will post links to other people's decks BUT i first look at their decks/suggest cards/like the deck/give out comments.

Yep, it is a solid card for Mill. Especially if you are running lots of creatures. In this deck, it is a very good suggestion!!! :)

Haven't forgot about you guy. Just been really busy.
I will make out a list of cards tonight/tomorrow, and post them on here.
Thanks for being patient with me.

It sucked in high school. I got made fun of. I lived in rural southeast georgia. With a bunch of close minded rednecks, with their burning crosses.
I was sorta goth/nirvana/grunge guy. Long haired. Etc.

Even with that...i would still go back. Try harder to have fun. To enjoy being young. It isn't something to be taken for granted friend. I wish you Collamus and you magicmaster all the happiness in the world, in regards to your future.

Hallmark moment brought to you by Jessie.
:)

I am so iffy with Traumatize. At first, it seems so broken! Half of your opponent's deck!!! Wow. Brilliant!

However, this is what i have found. By the time you can play Traumatize, on the 5th turn, your opponent doesn't have that many cards in his library, anyways. It is too slow.

Mind Sculpt. Tome Scour. Stuff like that is fast. To the point. Opponent down 1/4 of his cards by the end of Turn 2.

Never played EDH, but with 99 cards to choose from...versus 60 in a normal deck...is it easier to decide what to move/sub in an EDH deck?

Agreed, without drawing engines and search engines...a playset (4 copies) of win condition cards is a plus.
I don't want to play against this deck...just so I don't have to be the first person to lose, in the magic of Mtg, to a Mountain Goat.

That would be almost as bad as losing to a Rod of Ruin. lol

Northy, haters gonna hate, right? :)

magicmaster, I am 30, and this sounds super lame...but enjoy school while you can. I sincerely mean that. Have friends. Be happy. Don't sweat stuff. Just have fun. Enjoy life. I often wish i could go back to being 15.

I use to "teach" someone how to play Magic. A good friend of mine. It was the blind leading the blind. As you know kazzong, i suck with rules of Magic.

So, Wash Out, I didn't know the rules. I thought lands were colored. Forest colored green. Mountain colored red.
I did not know they were colorless.

So, I would play Wash Out on his green elf deck. I would choose the color green. Make him board swipe everything. Lands included. IT wasn't until me and him was playing at a local magic shop (circa 2003) and tried to pull that trick on him...did someone over hear, and come educate me on the fact that Forests are colorless. The comic store guy was like, "Yeah, Wash Out doesn't target lands, they are colorless." lol

I had abused Wash Out for over a year, playing it wrong. lol :)

To people like KnightoftheHokeyPokey, Kazzong, surewhynot, and Puschkin...thank you for helping me so much understand the rules.

Yes, yes, yes. It will be one of the cards i add. :)

Do you think i need to stick with the win condition?
Have creatures that make your opponent have forests.
Then attack with forest walk creatures.
Is that viable?

A butt load of playtesting. Very true. That is why I have been scared to even try to start playtesting...because it needs a lot of work.

Wait, is that considered a triggered ability?
If so, I need to find room for it.

I mean...it looks to be a static ability...not triggered.
So...i am pretty sure your teacher was using Torpor Orb incorrectly.
