well, those are all valid ideas, and I would certainly want to put in the Tunnelers if I made this deck for standard considering I would have to pull out Berserk, Kird ape, Fireblast, Tinder Wall, Ground Rift and Taiga. but that makes it a different deck entirely.

after a few more sample hands it appears you are right about one thing for sure, this deck is very good with a Kiln in the opening hand, and no good at all without one. It seems that alot of players in here just play standard, I have never played standard (I haven't really played much at all in the last 10 years) I do like your standard version of this
I suppose Vitality Charm would work to a lesser degree. I don't have 4 Berserks either, but that is the beauty of this site. I don't have to have the cards to make a deck idea. I do have a Moat I will try to trade for 3 Berserks later this week.
ground rift works better anyway, the "draw sample hand" first time got me a double strike, trampleing 38 power Kiln Feind on turn 3.
I like the distortion strike idea, however your deck is very slow compared to mine..... if by better you mean standard legal, then yep you got me. (btw I just replaced the hearthcharm with ground rift)

if you want to avoid NEEDING your godsire to win, you could pull another infinate loop with sprout swarm... maybe a fire whip?
I just tried "draw sample hand" 9 times and the slowest (uncontested) win was turn 4. 6 of them were turn 3. give it a shot and see if you like. (BTW I only have 2 taiga and 1 berserk but if I decide this is cool enough I might pick up the rest for the $400 or so it would cost)
why not Crumble instead of Naturalize? love the deck btw
it was already mentioned, but you should look at puttin 4 flings in here for your kiln feinds and act of treasons and both of those I suggest you keep 4 of.... I would also pull your Goblins out to make room for the burn and keep your deck at 60 cards
howling mines instead of journy to nowhere? you have good low casting cost for alot of this so I would imagine alot of games have you sittin without cards around turn 5.... sure the howling mine hurts ya too by givin all that draw to your opponent, but it helps your artifact theme and you should be able to do more with it than your average opponent
turn 3 win? what once out of 300 tries against an oppenent that gives you a 3 turn head start?
