I like it! I think you could use some library replenishment though... Feldons cane? Elixir of immortality? I could see you milling yourself pretty quick in a matchup against a defencive deck.

Charisma! also a Niv-Mizzet or two would make this a great multi-player deck imo. I'm pretty fond of Tim decks.

nice deck!

Aether Adept or Contagion Clasp would have better synergy than the Sphinxs IMO but other than that this would be alot of fun, Vensor is my favorite Plainswalker and I've used him in several decks recently

I've been a Mill fan since Millstone came out, (too bad its been so weak as of late)

I think Arcaine Denial would be an upgrade over counterspell

Trade secrets would be an upgrade over Memory Erosion

Both those cards not only help your drawing but also thin your opponents library (but really its all about personal preference and that is just mine)... I do like this deck quite a bit

Brilliant! I will totaly steal this idea from ya for my next legacy Tourny... but I'll use diabolic intent instead of the banned mystical and some other minor changes but I've never seen this combo before and I really like it.

He didn't copy much of surewhynots Illusions deck at all but almost all of this is a cut and paste of mine. Sheesh!

just teasein, I realize that for a standard blue aggo illusions deck there is a pretty limited pool of cards to draw from and you probably just had the same idea as me and didn;t even see my deck. So it goes without sayin that I like your deck :)

hmmm, it looks like this is no longer your deck... your been given alot of advice, and all of it has merit, (some more so than others) but youve taken all that advice and made the old ANT deck as if it were straight off a Wizards of the Coast Jan 2010 top 8 Tournament. basicly the same deck that half the dedicated legacy players copied off each other back then. I really liked your own deck (the one you first posted on here) alot more, it was effective and origional.

in Vintage yes.... this deck would be Legacy, however I wouldn't ever consider takin it to a real Legacy Tournament.... Its causal (if I'm feeling feisty in my playgroup I would sneak in 3 extra brainstorms for 7 total :P)

you need both cards yes, but Jacob is right having 4 tendrills just causes more Ad Nausium pain than is neccisary. consider diabolic intent... in addition Culling the weak should be a better mana ramp than cabal ritual in this deck.

making a copy or variation of someone elses deck should just be considered flattery, both of you came up with decks named similarly to mine with similar construction to mine 3 days after mine got into upcoming. no big deal, all three decks are good and different and should be fun (mines the best of course :P)

I tried that before I put in the culling the weak and found that I never hit threshold and that the 2 cast cost was a little painfull for the Ad Nau. draw. but I think I might try it again with culling the weak and see how it goes

Thank you, but I don't consider this cheese, this is a carefully considered battleplan revolving around a early win. Things I consider "cheesey" in MTG is when you go to a tournament and play carbon copy decks from worlds. as for my record with this, I have only played it in two tournaments and my overall record is 13-2 I got beat by merfolk and myself (suicide)

OK, so there have been a few nice comments so far today, but I would really like criticisum and new ideas for this... my play group is pretty familiar with this deck (and often wont play me if I pull it out) so I would like a new twist on it.... ideas?

oh, there are a few big weaknesses in this deck mindbreak trap, mental misstep, leyline of sanctity... and a few more, but lets pretend like it is bulletproof, I like that better.

no, I understand that Wish to warrens is one of the win conditions, (just like most blecher decks) I just didn't see consistancy here... dont get me wrong I'm not saying this deck is bad, just not everything you are claiming it is. This is a good deck.

If I had more Pact of negations and Diabolic intent I would put them in there, but these are the cards I own
