well the idea is to have win conditions that don't require time to develop and the rest of the deck is just a bit of stalling to that happens

thankyou for the comment, I appreciate you not saying that my deck is awful. lol

Thank you, I happen to agree with you that this deck is pretty strong, I'll look over your decks and see if I can give any valuable advice..... at the very least I'll comment

this is quite a bit better than mine, the first criticisum i have is that I think you have one very good target for your isochron scepter (glimpse the unthinkable) but tome scour and surgical extraction are not great for it. there are the obvious choices of orims chant or silence, but if you don't wanna dabble in white then maybe mind freeze could be the ticket, or my personal favorite for isochron.... Aether Burst.

wow! good comment there Mursh, I have not yet played this deck other than lay testing agains myself and I decided I didn't like it much at all, I then made a few changes and went with a combo similar to your Eradicate/ Wind Zendikon idea (I love that combo BTW though I used animate land instead of Wind Zendikon back when I ran it in conjunction with liquimetal coating and splinter) the combo I used was New Frontiers with the Mind Funeral already in there, and it worked much better but made the deck legacy instead of modern.

I feel kinda bad that I had already scrapped the deck and then you put together a very helpful and thoughtfull comment on it. you are absolutely right that hedron crab adds a line of defence that the deck needs and helps with the milling too, and both damnation and BSZ are good calls too.

I wish that I had put more time effort and thought into this deck but honestly I have moved on to my "combotastic" deck for Modern and it is working considerably better than I had initially antisipated, I'll chekc out your deck and comment on it, but I would prefer if you gave some of your insight to my good deck in return (if you don't mind) :)

This is a mill deck dude, sheesh!

but your kinda right, after a little play testing I have decided that it lacks something.

anyway, you should check out an actually good deck that I have just posted on here, my Combotastic deck is dominating my play group (my play group is a little weak though, but don't tell them that)

so the win condition is a fireball or hoping you can overwhelm you opponent with a bunch of non-pumped elves?

I looked at your elf deck, its OK, but I'm pretty sure this would beat it.

I really like WW decks, this one is pretty solid and a little similar to mine. I have a few creatures a little different but they are interchageable and really more a matter of preferance. I do think that with a deck like this that is pretty aggressive there should be a small portion of it dedicated to defence and you could do that with Pariah. Pariah/MOM is one of my favorite all-time combos and would only require a small adjustment for your deck.

fight fight fight fight!!!!!

you guys are all pretty funny, Church, Blue said the site sucks balls pretty clearly you should actually read a comment before you attack it. Blue, you didn't use "buddysystem" as a verb, I think you just wanted to use the word verb to sound smart. Buddysystem, you are one funny dude :) and I wouldn't dare defile your name, we should stick together and create some type of system of teamwork to acheive a common goal, I don't know what we should call it though. Surewhynot, I really don't have anything to say to you on this cause I still want your occasional imput on my decks :), Ethan, I bet blue said you were immature cause you have a picture up, or maybe cause you did the all capps mocking quote thing. (which was kinda funny but pretty immature) Blue again, why are you suprised with the responce you got? you were a jerk so they attacked ya, duh! Ragged, your deck isn't awful no matter what blue says, but it isn't amazing either, I do like extraction though so maybe I see more potential in it than most. I was thinking Hymn to Tourach would be a good way to go but I didn't realize it was for modern magic, so scratch my earlier comment and instead I'll say Memoricide is way better than cranial extraction you should try that (har har)

I like the idea of the deck, but I think there are maybe some better options than fatespinner and sculler. Hymn to Tourach?

Bluewins, your right that alot of decks make the front page because one of those 5 guys made it and they all comment on eachothers decks no matter if they are good or bad, but don't be a jerk about it. Its just how this site works and the rest of us dont really care.

I very much like this, but where is lightening bolt? it would work well here instead of fireball and wrap in flames

I agree, I do need more draw and Trade secrets is probably exactly what i need, however the two blue mana is why it is just in my sideboard, as a matter of fact I should probably take it out all together or put more blue mana in, I was considering prosperity or words of wisdom

I did consider Glimpse the Unthinkable, I only own one though

I dissagree that Tome Scour would work well here, one card for 5 is not as good as one card for 13 or 15 (Mind Funeral)

Nemesis of Reason is not synergistic with this deck, I am creatureless here on prupose (make their Swords to Plowshare, GFTT, ect worthless cards)

Leyline of the void makes Extirpate and Surgical extraction and haunting echoes dead cards.... I think this is the whole point of the deck

I love it!, a guy in my playgroup threw a temper tantrum when I Splinttered his forest in his sporling deck, so he refused to ever play that deck again.... now I can make this, pull it out against him and watch the tears flow.... again :)

I like it, its a little weak vs the legacy tournament scene, however it could be changed to standard pretty easily and be pretty solid (despite what arachan says I think it could be strong standard)

I like both the Wurmcoil and Argentum in this... maybe only 1 or two of each and toss in Treasure Mage for the blue creature bonus plus the search... just my opinion ( I am however the smartest person in the universe)

I like it. :)

since you are doin some proliferating and you have some hefty mana cost spells you might wanna consider Everflowing Chalice.

I'm a big Vensor fan though and like this deck.
