Wind Zendikon on T1, with only 2 copies, and no searching power? Mind Control is a useful Aura to help power your Gnarlid, while stealing your enemies monsters (even better if they have a gnarlid you can steal).

A culling dais and Golem Foundry would be nice additions to the deck, Culling Dais for drawing cards, and countering mind controls, and Golem Foundry because 3/3 Golem tokens are always nice.

Proliferate is Protean Hydra's BFF, also it's worst enemy, -1/-1 counters can end the Hydra, and get past the Umbras Totem Armor.

Bloodhusk Ritualists might also be a good option for your deck, 2 colorless and 1B with multikicker of 1B for discards.

You may want to consider Perilous Myr. Sacrifice it for Salvaging Station and do 2 Damage to your opponent, just some nice subtle burn. I am impressed with the overall construction of the deck.

To the above poster, Notice what most of his lands do, they either multiply in production value, or they decrease the cost of his spells, theoretically he should have enough for Hand by Turn 5, under optimal conditions I could see a Potential T3 Emrakul. This deck would be intense in a multiplayer match.

Interesting to say the least... I can see some pretty evil combinations coming from this deck. Enough control and raw burn to make it hurt, while I could see Fire Servant being a better option for the deck than two of the Arc runners or maybe another card if you could find the right sacrifice.
