Tracker's Instinct, Thought Scour, Mental Misstep for SB, FORBIDDEN ALCHEMY, 1 or 2 Tree of Redemptions to help save you if you are on the losing end of a battle.

Cool deck idea, I love green blue!

Counterspell, Merchant Scroll, RATCHET BOMB (absolutely needs to be on this list, hands down), SPELLSKITE (how did everyone forget that one???), Goblin Recruiter, Kiln Fiend (yes, it is worthy of this list), Warren Instigator, there are so many more

It's hilarious to me that Frost Titan is the cheapest of all of the titans. He essentially shuts the other ones down... ANYWAYS

A lot of people commenting didn't read your description, because they keep throwing you non-standard advice. This kind of deck idea would work much better as non-standard, but I digress.

I completely agree with the guy who said to drop your Titans down to 2, and keep Primeval at 3. If you swing this a little bit more towards green, you're going to have more access to ramp and are going to be more likely to actually play some of those titans. I would run Phyrexian Metamorph as well, since it can become another of your titans/artifacts/or kill your opponent's legendary/etc. It's versatility is amazing. Copying a Simulcrum is always great!

I would drop the Quicksilver count down. I would add 4 Birds of Paradise. They are going to help you cast your titans much more easily, as well as being a flying chump blocker in worst case scenario.

Speaking of chump blockers, the main reason this deck will not fly in standard as it is is because it is just insanely slow. You have no early defense, control, or creatures of any sort! You really need to adjust the colors of the deck so it is not split exactly 5 ways, because your main 3 colors you pick can give you access to a ton of utility cards that will allow you to survive.

Want some removal to survive early beatings? Black gives you Go for the Throat, Tragic Slip, Dismember (Phyrexian mana), Black Sun's Zenith, etc. Green gives you Beast Within, Naturalize, etc. Red gives you Ancient Grudge (definitely worth sideboarding 3 of!), Incinerate, Slagstorm, etc.

Want some control/answers? Blue gives you Mana Leak, Negate, Vapor Snag, Disperse, Snapcaster, etc. White gives you Grand Abolisher, Timely Reinforcements, Midnight Haunting, Norn's Annex (Phyrexian mana), etc.

You could also consider some of the "free" 1 cmc spells, like Gutshot and Mental Misstep, depending upon your match up.

Spellskite would be very at home here. He provides early defense for cheap, can block intimidate, saves your titans, and pretty much just says fuck you to a lot of stuff in standard right now.

Experiment with the colors, and figure out what kind of subtheme you want going on here and what utility card types suit you the best. I highly recommend green and black, and I am a particular fan of blue because of the amount of control it can give you. Find out what works the best for you! I hope this helps some.

Good luck!

For creatures you can use Wee Dragonauts (basically flying Kiln Fiend with better defense) and possibly some Gelectrodes, which are one of the coolest creatures ever. Almost the entire deck is going to be instant/sorcery, so that's going to net a few extra damage per turn and also take some of the creature removal heat off of your Kilns/Wees.

The Elemental Appeals could be gotten rid of then if other creatures are added. I feel like the other ones would do more, and they cost 1 mana less. I do appreciate the damage they can do alone AND the fact that they boost Kiln Fiend since they're sorceries, but overall their impact is too easy to be negated.

Preordains or possibly Gitaxian Probes would definitely help as I said before, since card draw is always good and it helps do more damage.

If you like the idea of free spells, Mutagenic Growth can turn Kiln into a beast for 2 life. Being free from mana to play could mean a win a turn earlier, giving your opponent less time to find an answer for your creature that is beating the crap out of him (Doom Blade, Vapor Snag, Celestial Purge, etc.)

It would even be possible to free a slot up by dropping the Muddle the Mixtures if you are running more creatures than Kiln Fiend.

Alright so let's see...

- 4 Muddle the Mixture
- 3 Elemental Appeal
- 4 Magma Spray
- 1 Fireball
- 2 Gutshot

+ 3 Wee Dragonauts
+ 3 Gelectrodes
+ 2 Gitaxian Probes
+ 3 Mutagenic Growth
+ 3 Fling

Or something like that.

Oh and since you are using blue, why not use a few cheap draw spells like Brainstorm or Preordain to 1) boost Kiln Fiend 2) help you draw into a Kiln Fiend 3) Even out your draw if you're stuck drawing crap. I would recommend Preordain!

Fling. Fling fling fling fling fling. Fling absolutely needs to be in here... there is literally no reason for it not to be. I see your reasoning, but honestly man... it's going to win you games. LOTS of games.

I would also run MORE CREATURES. Just a few. I know you are basing this entirely on Kiln Fiend, but if you play against blue, you lose. If you play against black, you also lose. White can also screw this deck up pretty hard. Elemental Appeal can help some, but you still need some sort of back up or something.

Alright, now that I've beat you up a bit (sorry lol), here is something you need in your sideboard instead of Crush -

Shattering Spree.

Not sure if you haven't heard of that card before or you just don't have any, but I would recommend getting some if you don't. They are AMAZING. One of the best red cards ever printed.

Good luck!

Thanks so much! Haha yeah my friends hate it. 1 v 1 they can't run enough artifact removal to deal with it, even with Creeping Corrosion, Inkmoth poison and proliferate prevails!

Oh yeah, I would probably run some Vapor Snags mainboard too. They are EXCELLENT.

Runechanter's Pike would definitely work well here. Mutagenic Growth could actually be pretty good here too, for multiple reasons.

SB Ancient Grudge, Spellskite, Combust, Flashfreeze, Negate, stuff that can help you deal with some of the big threats in standard right now.

Mycosynth Wellspring only nets you one at first, then you have to put it into your graveyard somehow to get a second.

It's an interesting card, but it only lets you pull out basic land...which I have none of in this deck!

Thanks for the comment though :)

Mox Opal is a great card, but I feel like it would be out of place here. The land base should really take care of all the mana needs; I don't think adding one extra mana would really benefit me since I would have to take out some type of utility card or something, and I really like the balance the way it is right now. I appreciate the suggestion though! I generally like to use the Opal with a bunch of 0 drop artifacts in combo decks and what-not.

Yeah, Ratchet Bombs mess up all sorts of deck types. Especially token-based aggro. 2 mana, tap, sac, "What human army?"

I've actually been considering using Cloudposts, Glimmerposts, and Vesuvas in place of the Urza's lands, but I don't actually own any of them. I'm going to get them eventually and I will test out the differences. Thanks for the comment!

It won't work with Undying, since Melira only prevents -1/-1 counters from being put on your creatures. :(

Very interesting deck! Repercussion is a sexy card, and Blasphemous Act smashes with it. I like Ashnod's Altar as a way to get rid of your creatures and help cast Blasphemous Act for the win, and Alliance of Arms works out well too.

I would probably drop some of the white and bring it to 60. Why do you have so much library search hate? Do a lot of people in your play group use Stoneforges or something? That kind of stuff I would usually reserve for the sideboard, unless you are only playing with someone who searches a lot. Insurrection is a cool card, but I feel like it's kind of win-more. It's just really expensive to cast, although you can alleviate that burden with Ashnod's Altar...but this is very situational.

This is a great idea! I think I'm going to make a mono red deck version with mana acceleration and more burn, I'll post it when I'm done!

Cool deck :)

Yep... that could help him get Furyborn out a whole turn earlier, since he's not spending a red to make Bloodthirst happen.
