you dont have a target for undying evil before your opponent makes the choice....you play devil, the choice is the next thing to trigger, you have no chance to play undying evil before our opponent chooses.

shock is removal, and its instant speed. Dreadbore belongs in a sideboard against large creatures and planeswalkers.

freed from the reel isnt standard. if he wanted to combo off for infinite mana in a gimmicky deck, he fwould have build Axebane Guardian/Galvanic Alchemist with defenders.

it would be a 3/3 haste flyer for RR, which is relevant. Heartless summoning is great in any deck with large, expensive creatures, and the best example of its use is not a cheap plug for your deck. it would be SUPER effective in a deck like this, as playing a summoning on turn 2 allows him to play basically any of his dragons on turn 3. scourge for RRR? seems good.

honestly, if it won you tournaments, who gives a shit about likes on some internet site that has very little actual credibility in the overall MTG community?

thats not to say there arent credible decks or players here, but whens the last time you heard someone say"i got this idea from MTG Vault" ?

play your game for you, not for a bunch of likes from 14 year olds.

@manofwar51: if you really played pro tours, you would know that your decks are not private.

how do I get a negative for saying exactly what you said? I said PLAN for rotation, but PLAY whats available. If there is a better card than what you are running available in standard, then you are doing a disservice to the deck by not using it.

in like 2 months...play whats available now, and plan for rotation. dont play post rotation before you have to.

thundermaw will be the best dragon available in standard until it rotates out. hands down. even if you play it turn 6 after a scourge. it taps all flyers and makes a hole for your dragons to get damage through.

I would still use Artful Dodge until rotation. its just too good in this deck.

a deck similar to this took 2nd at a recent SCG open trial in my area. if its built right, it can be amazing. look up the "Nivix Blitz" that is, of course, if you should decide to make it competetive

the whole deck is really just support for the Sanguine Bond/Corrupt interaction. Cauldron/newt are probably coming out, and Im probably transitioning this to a B/W deck for better lifegain with the Bond.

Sanguine bond is a reprint. I've had a sanguine bond/ exquisite blood deck built for modern since avacyn restored came out. The combo works with vizkopa guildmage too

fog bank is not strictly better than hover barrier. you seem to forget that its 0/2 makes it VERY vulnerable to Pillar, Shock, spear, ect. sure, fog bank absorbs all combat damage, but think about what happens between turn 2 and 3. not much. getting the extra 4 toughness on turn 3 can stop creatures up until about turn 6-7, when they can play something serious enough to hurt Hover Barrier, and its much tougher to burn out, costing 2 spears or 3 shocks...
