Erebos is the best in the current format. she shuts off Whips Lifelink and Archangel of Thunes ability. not to mention any other lifegain. plus she lets you draw cards.

shutting off Sphynxs Rev can just outright win you the game.

I would never attack with her. the the only way they can deal with her if your devotion is high is with return Permanent cards or sac creature cards, but if devotion is low, only things like Cyclonic Rift get her....

just being able to choose what you draw is super relevant, and shes indestructible.

I think Thassa might be better here than the Bident....the ability to go through 2 cards a turn after turn 3 is better than drawing cards on damage, imo.

keep taking offense to every comment. when you read something as negative, its going to be negative.

well, if you go back to my first comment youll see that I said it would not work here. then you suggested cloudshift, which is not in standard, and said it was the only way, which is incorrect. I simply showed another way.

ACTUALLY, jmcnichols, it will work. you attack with Aurelia for the first time, and copy it. then if you found a way to make Resonator a creature until the end of turn (toymaker) you untap all the peices, and let the COPY resolve. BEFORE you attack again, you use the Resonator to Copy the original trigger on the stack (the one that is already there, recognizing Aurelia as attacking for the first time, creating extra combat). Rinse, repeat. infinite.

no, the other way is to make Strionic Resonator a creature, so it untaps, and use a bunch of mana guys to pay for it, then you make a copy of the ORIGINAL trigger on the stack, the one that recognized Aurelia's first attack. if you let that one resolve, you get an additional combat, and thats that.

no, since Aurelia can only trigger her own ability if she attacks for the first time in a turn. you would still only get 2 combat phases.

I would main Heros Downfall over Putrefy. it is the same CMC, and just seems more relevant.

I had shrine in here, and my hand frequently empties fast without it, and faster with it. I dont feel it is necessary. I had though about putting in Sacred Foundry so I could run Chained to the Rocks, but the deck is so refined already that it would be difficult to find room.

"I have 1 planeswalker and 1 akroan horse in sideboard for FFA, just to experience building up gideon's loyalty power based on how many soldier tokens opponents have and use gideon's -15 ability to wipe the board, then kill the opponents with him. I plan to play the horse in beginning of game to get the tokens out and play gideon during the extra turns that I would get from medomai."

YOUR opponents dont get soldier tokens from the horse, YOU do. when you play horse, your opponent gains control of it, and you get a token in their upkeep.

fiendslayer is amazing in this matchup. he is super tough for a lot of decks to deal with right now. sure he dies to Loxodon, but thats why I run removal.

lol. youre cute. I dont bitch about anything. I create discussions. you, on the other hand, just give bad advice. its good to see you know some grown up words, though. the internet breeds another tough guy.
