no one said Gravecrawler is bad. I said he cannot block, as was originally stated in the HTP.

yes, its fine when you can use tutors, but i most formats you cant.
a combo that required 10 mana and a way to deal damage if you want it to go in one turn....its not very good, which is why when it WAS standard, the only decks that had it were pretty bad decks. in theory you could go off on turn 6, if you had a perfect draw.
main point being you are suggesting non standard cards for a standard deck.
my rules quote is copy/paste from the most current CR. anything that copies gains all copiable stats unless otherwise stated. Name is copiable.
I would run more than one fog effect. maybe DD and fog, but you want to have them in hand when you need them, and sometimes 4 isnt enough.
exquisite blood is not standard. Vizkopa Guildmage is though
Herp - how about quoting some rules on that? you thinking something doesnt make it right.
im not sure what youre talking about...but in the future please try to know the actual rules before you tell someone what you think they are :)
Exterminator, you are wrong. name is a copiable value that is granted when clone resolves.706.2. When copying an object, the copy acquires the copiable values of the original object’scharacteristics and, for an object on the stack, choices made when casting or activating it (mode, targets, the value of X, whether it was kicked, how it will affect multiple targets, and so on). The“copiable values” are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, color indicator, card type, subtype, supertype, expansion symbol, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty), as modified by other copy effects, by “as . . . enters the battlefield” and“as . . . is turned face up” abilities that set characteristics, and by abilities that caused the object tobe face down. Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, andcounters are not copied.
needs fog effects so you dont have to block with wincons. I ran a similar list a few months before rotation, it was basically turbofog with a Biovisionary wincon.Less counters, more fogs. what good is biovisionary if you arent alive to see it hit 4?
How to PlayBasically, get your zombies out ASAP. Your zombies will keep coming back after they are killed. Pump out the zombie tokens for a Horde of Attackers/Defenders. Also, as long as you have 1 zombie Gravecrawler can be used as an infinite block, for as long as you have the mana to cast him.except Gravecrawler cant block......
the problem with this is that its actually cheaper to run the infinite Vizkopa Guildmage/ Sanguine Bond combo, and thats more reliable.
VERY mana intensive though
you should run a couple Gray Merchants. theyre not human, but theyre awesome.
some people....
that was sarcasm...
clearly.....lol
you dont ever want to go above 60 cards for consistency purposes.
but.....if im not worth responding to...why did you respond???
