Trample negates the need for that kind of removal, however Nylea's bow wouldn't be a bad choice. I had both in my previous version of this deck.

Mistcutter is there for those pesky blue decks, which is more often than not. I had primordial in my deck before I made it standard... Found myself not using it for big drops. I often do the most damage with unflinching courage on Smiters or voice tokens. The ramp from kalonian makes him a big target right away, leaving open everything else to swing.
I thought about Thune for a hot minute. She's definitely great for life gain. I really like Kalonian b/c it can get huge in just a few turns and already has trample, really puts pressure on the opponent with the amount of +1/+1 counters it can add to my creatures.. It's also half the price of Thune. I guess it would come down to personal preference. If I continue play-testing and decide I need more white devotion, she may go in. Thanks for the input!
Definitely go with what works best for you, just wanted to mention it since it would work well with adding counters and is only a 5 drop for such a beast of a creature.
Kalonian Hydra works well with this deck. Would also keep you standard.
Hrmmm interesting. I think it's at least worth a sideboard. Thanks for the input.
I haven't play tested the deck (I am anxious to try it though!), but it seems like quite a bit of mana ramp. Have you tried swapping some ramp for other options? Perhaps Experiment One, Scavenging Ooze, or something pretty in blue (card draw). Those 2 creatures have great synergy with Kalonian Hydra. If you have the time and patience, I invite you to critique my latest deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/planbfan/decks/devotion-to-aggro-2/
Thanks, they are quite fun to mess around with.
Very similar to my Standard Selesnya Aggro. I freaking love Kitchen Finks! With this low of a mana curve and good dual lands in Modern, you could consider taking out the 4x Pilgrims and putting in a few Unflinching Courage. Gives trample until Nylea is out, and Lifelink is hells-fun in this style. Also I would scrap the Primordial and throw in another Kalonian if you can afford it. I'm assuming it's one of each b/c that's what you have. The strat in my Selesnya is to add Trample, Lifelink, and +1/+1 counters as much as possible and ramp them with Kalonian Hydra. Check it out and give it some Feedback and a "Like" if you don't mind. http://www.mtgvault.com/planbfan/decks/devotion-to-aggro-2/
Dissolve is generally regarded as the best for standard b/c it gives Scry, which in a blue deck never hurts. I think Negate works really well here because you have many ways to deal with creatures and it saves you the mana. Would be personal preference really. You could always add it to the sideboard incase someone is playing hex proof.
Very cool. This deck can quickly turn out of control.
I get very mad at Steel Hellkite in EDH... very mad.
Could be a little susceptible to pure burn. Maybe add a few Counterspells? If you're willing to add creatures a Judge's Familiar would work well to that effect.
Looks surprisingly fun to play. Gotta scare people telling them you are playing a 5-color 60-card deck.
Any feedback would be most appreciated, especially any ideas concerning adding buffs/pumping the creatures with Lifelink, Trample, and of course more counters. I'm not too keen on having 4 Boon Satyrs in the deck, I would really like to bring it down to 2. I do, however, really like their flexibility (Flash, creature buff and/or inexpensive creature in a pinch, extra devotion on the board).
Argentum Armor + Stonehewer Giant is a great combo, I might have to put that into my Boros EDH Deck. When you play Gisela, she attracts a lot of attention, a lot of protection for her is needed. That being said you have all of the right artifacts. Some pure burn is great, but also becomes far less useful if Gisela gets deck shuffled or too expensive to bring back out. Consider Boros Reckoner and Serra Ascendant, great on their own in EDH but get insanely good with Gisela out. Also throw in a Wear // Tear for pesky artifacts & enchantments. I try to keep a synergy of the deck working well together, and just insane if Gisela is out. Being too dependent on an expensive General can be problematic. Check out my deck when you have a chance, give it some feedback and a "Like"!http://www.mtgvault.com/planbfan/decks/gisela-edh/
I was heavily considering that card. I decided that my strategy might get too wide if I start using Circu. The goal is to empty the opponent's hand and control whatever gets through via counters and/or board removal. Thanks for the suggestion, though! Now click that "Like" button!
RAKDOS!(10 more characters)
Artifact Fetch is a good idea, I'll add some of that in. I don't know how I missed Sun Forger. I was on the fence about Gideon, so he's probably out. I really want to keep a good amount of the instant burn, if I get braid of fire out, they're basically free. Looks like artifact and enchantment fetch, with a little more white control thrown in. I made some changes, great suggestions. I definitely added Lightning Helix, and Path to Exile is a smart addition to keep things under control.
