He is definitely an amazing card, and is something I would 100% include if I had a 79. The choice between him and Captivating was very very close. My final decision came down to the fact that Captivating's +1/+1 completely dominates the Aggro matchup for me, while Demon of Death's Gate (Which is nessissary for all forms of ramp decks) also fills most of the roles that the Nighhawk does.

Great deck yet again... I would love to see you designing Standard tournament decks or Extended ones too.... People say innovation is dead in T2, and we need more people like you designing. Sure, I'll swing for 180+ on turn 6, but I can't build control decks for shit. I would love to see you on mtgsalvation.

Lightmine Field is a sick addition to this deck, and is the bane of all Aggro decks.

You are crazy.... This deck us sick. But you know what the best thing is? I'm testing a deck that might OUTRAMP you. Hurray for little brothers, mine came to visit and saw the Land Ramp deck I was making mapped out on the floor and goes "Why do you choose between Harrow, Explore, Rampant Growth, and Cultivate? Just run 4 of each." Also, check out my response on my Leveler deck.

Of course not. It just means when I go to Opens I bring 4 Aggro decks :) RDW, Boros, Kuldotha Red, and Kuldotha RB/G. Also, I'm designing a tournament quality landramp deck... Current testing has given 35/50 games a Titan or Tanglewood by T5, and 19 of those times I have more than one. Yup :) I'm trying to decide if going GR for Koth and is worth it.... I'm thinking not.

PS: My most epic win was T3 Titan, T4 Tanglewood, T5 Titan, T6 Swing with 2 Titans, one 8/8 trample, and 19 8/8 forests.

But... It's so awesome :( What would you have me SB instead? Any other criticisms? And any title suggestions?

Interesting idea, but I feel the CMC slot the Reverant occupies is currently filed with strictly better cards, so I probibly will not include her.

Interesting. Two cards that would rock this deck are Genesis Wave and Might of the Masses

In a game that lasts ~5 turns, I find his downside to not matter in the slightest.

Yo! Lazyboy66. Get off the couch and fix this deck (or even stay on the damn couch if you really want)

Flavor-wise, you are dead right. From a playability standpoint.... 20/20/12/4/0/0/0/4 Mana curve does not work

The Purists are just amazing, I love them (but only if I draw them turn 3 or later). I think this deck proves that Leveler is not suited for competetive play, since this deck is awesome for a leveler and its not nearly competetive. As if the fact that there are only two creatures with level-up in competetive decks doesn't give it away.

^^ is exactly right. I play in Standard Opens, and don't play other formats in serious tourniments

Seriously though, thanks a lot for this comment, it is one of the most helpful Ive seen. I am a self-proclaimed Aggro mage from Naya, so I'm a little out of my depth making a mono-black legacy deck. Any other comments or suggestions?
