Ruin Ghost exiles a land, not a creature, so he help boost the landfall abilities. Although, after reading it again, I'm not sure if he's exactly worth it because the land doesn't come back until after my turn is over, and I'm having a little bit of space issues getting what I want to fit in the deck.

What cards would you reccomend? And what other questions do you have?

What do you guys think? I'm having a bit a trouble deciding exactly how to set it up... which cards should be mainboard and which should be SB. Also, if you knew you were facing this deck, what would you want to play? I know this isn't tourniment quality yet but I like the idea and wonder if maybe some modifications could make it tourniment worthy.

Nice idea mate. I haven't had a chance to playtest this deck yet, but I see your point, and threw in 4x Preordain, and adjusted the mana base a bit. What do you think now?

Also, I'll check out your deck right away.

I thought about him, but I decided he wasn't worth the mana investment. He is not really that useful until you level him up a lot, and a Transcendent Master with say 4 level tokens is a prime target for burn or removal. Thanks for the suggestion!

Actually, one other thing, although I understand why you threw 4x Kraken Hatchling in the deck, I think you would be better off with 4x Disfigure or 4x Vendetta instead. The reason U/B works so well is that Blue can counter things as they are played easily and Black is awesome at removing things from the board. I would love to see a few more Black spells incase some creatures get by the removal.

Decent deck. My only critisms are that the upper end of your mana curve looks a bit shakey and that you have waaaaay to many swamps in here! Since you use 5.5x as much blue mana as black mana, you should produce approximately 5.5x as much blue mana as black mana as well.

There is a version of this running in Extended right now actually. I'd reccomend adding Tezzeret the Seeker to help you grab artifacts, and maybe Golem's Heart to stall the game out longer if your in a pinch. Nice work.

No problem man. The other card I forgot to mention is Preordain. The lack of that card in Jonathan Randle's deck is actually why I decided to make my own version of it - card advantage is very important in extended. Smother is, in my opinion, actualy a very useful card in the current meta due to its ability to remove black cards that you can't Doom Blade. Doran, the Siege Tower, Stinkweed Imp, Bloodghast, and more.

And raggedjoe! I'm the one who started this by inspiring them. I don't like the mainboard Tectonic Edge (or, atleast having 2 of them isn't good), and I often find that 3 Cryptic Command is enough, especially with all the 4 drops you got here. You might want to concider Smother, and Infest. The sideboard looks awesome to me, but then again its almost card for card mine.

Dang man, that deck is nice! I personally hate playing tempo decks, but I played against this one at the tournament, and I knew I had to share it couz its just so epic. I took out his first Bitterblossom, but on the every next turn he played another. This deck just wrecks.

Thanks a log man! Vampires are my favorite creature type due to their ridiculous versatility. Here I have Aggro weenies, but they also can be used in control, life drain, burn, and more. IIf you enjoy this deck, please check out some of my others. They almost are all cheap as well.
