Eh, not really. Caress only activates when a card is discarded from the hand, milling doesnt count unfortunately. Liliana's Caress does work wonders in my hand-discard deck though. Check it out

Why have I never heard of Scute Mob??? I'm stealing this card for my green stompy deck. I dont see why you dont include Garruk... turn 4 play and untap two lands, turn 5 everyone gets +3/+3 and trample... thats what I call epic

Ehh, sorry. Ponder isn't standard legal anymore. You could try it's younger brother Preordain though.

Nice deck. The combo with Gideon is worth persuing, maybe run two Jace and one Gideon? I would also recommend Ponder. That may be the single best legal draw card in the game, and is definitely the best Standard one.

Very very nice idea, honestly one that would never occur to me. Maybe you should concider Genisis wave? I like that card. I am definitely a fan; this is the kind of deck I love; it takes an institutional deck and throws a creative twist on it. Going to check out your other decks, if they are as good you got some skill.

I think your mana curve is a little too sharp. I playtested your deck and 6/10 times I didn't get a creature down until turn 3... Your card draw idea is nice, but in practice I think throwing in some boosts for the Packleader is a good idea. I'd recommend Arbor Elves.

I agree with wbb about the one copy spells. To make room for more copies consider this: you can make a good burn deck with some of these cards and you can make a good goblin deck with others. Just don't try to do both at the same time.

I'm sorry man, but this deck is just a "no" Almost every spell in this deck have a handfull of superior replacements. Replacing the Marauders with Cinder Pyromancer and the Needle Drops with Shock would be a good start. Check out my burn deck, Wrath of the Gods for some ideas

Okay, my number one criticism is about your creatures. These cards take up precious spots that could instead be used for powerful burn spells. Red burn is all about playing instants to deal as much damage as possible to a player, while ignoring all but the most dangerous creatures. You will not have enough creatures to get through your opponents blockers in most cases, so creatures that have to attack are at a disadvantage. Cinder Pyromancer is not standard legal, but Cunning Sparkmage is an acceptable, though lesser replacement you can use.

I would also recommend looking at your burn spells. {x}{m} spells are generally not as good for burn decks, because the mana to damage ratio is lower. Lightning Bolt, for example, does 3 damage for {m}, while if Fireball was to do 3 damage, it would require {3}{m}.

I would also drop all of your artifacts. Not only are some not standard legal, they do not really enhance the deck, with the possible exception of Dragon's Claw, although it should really be sideboarded to play vs other burn decks.

Some cards I would recommend: Chandra's Outrage, Unstable Footing, Arc Trail, Seismic Shudder, Kiln Fiend, Chandra's Spitfire, Fling (For your Spitfires and Fiends)

I don't like the Tectonic Edge... I find that card useless way too often (though that may just be the local meta). In my Soul Sisters deck I run 4 Raise the Alarms. Many Standard players in my area have learned to fear the Soul Sister/Ajani Pridemate/Soul Sister+Raise the Alarm opening. Forget what so_maro90 says, Elspeth Tirel is a great choice here, and the better choice in Standard. Incase you didn't pick up on it, I have a T1 Soul Sisters deck that owns.
