I actually really don't like your deck. Your creatures are generally worse than mine, only paying one Jin is just stupid (my old list is exempt as I made it before that card was printed), and the lack of counterspells also really hurts you deck. I also dislike slowing it down by dropping SSG/ESG.

I would really go with my creature assignment. The hellkite is cute, but has no protection.

Actually, suspend doesn't matter to this deck so I won't post what it means there, however there are a few mistakes in Lurker's description.

Suspend is an alternate casting cost that has a built in delay. Whenever you use the "suspend x" ability of a spell, you exile it with X time counters on it. At the beginning of each upkeep you remove one suspend counter, and when it hits 0 you may cast the spell.

It is true that Hypergenesis has no casting cost (and therefore cannot be cast normally from your hand), however there are cards with suspend and a casting cost.

To play Mirror, I would have to take out some legendaries. Therefore, no.

Also, its totally win-more and silly.

Shhh! I discovered the idea on my own, so I still get the full credit! Besides, I was the first person to make it work in legacy without you getting laughed at.

Each deck has a score, which is displayed as "likes". If you click the "like" button the deck gets +1. If someone other than the deckowner comments, the deck gets +3 (So the series of comments I'm posting now as I have been away from the computer net me no bonus).

See the deck description for an explanation of suspend and the combo

Why? The life-loss matters much less than the reusability IMO

Not going to bother to rewrite the same concept so I will quote myself:

"I considered things like Titans [and Ulamog], but I decided against them. The main idea here is I cast a cascade spell and pass, you draw a card and resign. All of my creatures are immune to spot removal, the sphinx is actually the easiest one to block (because a flyer with 2 protections is "easy" to block), and they are all blue. The last one is actually huge, as the counterspells will win you games. Simply put, those are the only three things that matter in a creature, anything else is fluff. That's why I won't add the titans for example.

One creature that just occurred to me that I will definitely is Jin Gitaxias. He is just amazing."

Ummm... Yea. Also, since its a 4-drop it can cascade into SSG/ESG, making you cry

Thanks, although I would have to largely disagree with your list. I would say that the best decks right now are (in no order):

Stoneblade, Maverick, ANT, TEAM, and Reanimator.

Also, "Tempered Steel" is called Affinity in legacy, and Infect is not a deck :P

I don't really see this making a huge splash, certainly not the way my work on Affinity did, but maybe.

I was afraid of that. I was hoping Garruk and the burn would make up for it.

I am aware this deck is not optimized, the idea is to be a good theme based starter deck. I like where the power level is right now to be honest. Maybe I should add a little more burn though

Meh, I really care not. Odds are you will have multiple guys on the table, so a single swing will win. Yes, wrath effects might be a pain, but you have counterspells, and they need to have a wrath that turn or they die. Plus, since Outburst is an instant, I can do it EOT :)

Thanks for the comment! Check out some of my other decks too

The thing is, what one drops would I run? Ponder? I prefer Think Twice. Discard? No thanks. If spell pierce was legal I might play that, but by and large I'm fine with 0 one drops

I really like RSD. Flying is pretty relevant, and his ability is just insane.

I think your right about removal... I'm going to try 1 Dismember, 1 GftT, and 1 Doom Blade

What do you guys think about Liliana? I'm toying with the idea of running her, although I'd have to redo the mana base... Massacre Wurm also could be interesting
