Realized that I didn't have Magewright's Stone or baldvian Warlord and dropped Ashes of the Fallen, Lightning Greaves, and Oathkeeper. Anyone have any ideas on how to abuse the Warlord?

What I envisioned was that if an Ashes came up in the draw before I could play Godo, he could grab the Oathkeeper. Just a situational combo to take advantage of Godo. I was thinking of splashing black for Conspiracy but couldn't find a way to do it reliably.
I haven't built this one yet, that's why.
none yet.
Lol. I forget new people start playing this game all the time. I consider old to be anything before Mercadian Masques. You know, back when the cards didn't tell a story.
Where indeed, krb686? Dude, you can't call this a mix of old and new if you don't have any cards from before the year 2000, and ESPECIALLY not if you only have one card that isn't in extended.
All the cards I can think of recommending aren't standard... Lame.
It doesn't hold a candle to the old barbs. Consider this one a fail.
I realized I forgot some points... You're up to 107. As for Valakut, I would say go ahead and change it. How long will the average game last? 15 turns? If you only get one out, you're going to deal 10 damage with it on average. Sure, 10 damage can win the game, but making the Worldgorger more reliable is probably a better option. I just remembered something! I put 2 Worldgorgers I borrowed from a friend in my original barbarians! Creepy.
84 points. I forgot to hit the thumbs up button earlier. I was in a hurry to get ready for work. My bad.
I like it. +1. If it were me, I'd probably take out a few spells in order to concentrate on adding a couple copies of Meloku, Uyo, and Burgeoning and replace the Overburdens with 2 more Mana Breach.
Easy. Spelljack the Netherborn, Mana Maze + Pinter's Servant, Silence, Arcane Laboratory, or just plain gain life with an instant after I cast Biorhythm. It's fairly simple to thwart, so I have to try to get it off quick while everyone's setting up. I'm also thinking about adding Elvish Piper. I doubt it would give me anything better than a 4th turn combo, but it would probably make it 500 times more reliable.
Oops. I have to add ANON to my list of +1 bonus points. I need to find a way to abuse Keldon Warlord for my actual barbarian deck. I rarely attack with more than 1 or 2 creatures.
Duh. Already had it. Squandered Resources would give you 8 mana in 4th turn (11 including your elves).
Turn 1 Forest, Llanowar elves Turn 2 Swamp, Elvish Archdruid Turn 3 Swamp, Magus of the Coffers and Vexing Shusher (Squandered Resources if opponent isn't using counters) Turn 4 Swamp, Llanowar Elves Turn 5 Swamp, Biorhythm and Netherborn I'll find the turn 4 while I'm at work today.
I don't have time to tally your score right now, but I'm loving this. +1 Someone gave the same instant -1 to LordStrongpaw's entry too.
You should check out my new deck challenge. I'd like to see what you come up with.
And the lead goes from 95 to 96. I promised myself I wouldn't offer build advice, but hipponox is right. That card has saved my ass more times than I can count. It's easily one of the best Barbs available (only because Kamahl and Jeska are legendary).
Had to swap Demonic Tutor for Diabolic Tutor. All my Demonic Tutors are in decks I want to keep and I'm NEVER going to pay $13 for a freaking card, $88 for 4 sets of the Divine vs Demonic duel decks, or swap cards from deck to deck.
Whoops... Forgot to swap Herald and Insist for Vexing Shusher. Got in too big of a hurry. I was originally thinking about adding blue, but I felt that it would slow the deck down a bit too much. As for Harrow and the like, I wanted to keep my mana ramp confined to creatures just in case something goes wrong with the combo. That way I have the most possible life while still accelerating my mana base.
