ULTIMATE budget pauper edh deck would be nice.

Yea! That's an awesome idea, good suggestion!
Heh, you gotta have those decks just to spite your friends in magic. XD
I know I wasn't the only one that was like "What the hell is a Nephilim" lol. I'd like to see this deck built more around Dune-Brood Nephilim and its Sand tokens swarming. Just because .... they're freakin' Sand Creatures (reminds me of Tusken Raiders from Starwars).
Now, I the standard pain fetchlands are not my cup of tea. To expensive price wise for a decent tactic, although in my actual deck I have a few, just for image purposes lol. As for the dragons, If this was a typical dragon deck i would put in more. But Dragonlord Atarka is the one that just does 5 damage to creatures or planewalkers. Now if I had Atarka, World Render I could justify it putting a couple more dragons in the deck. I'm going to be testing it out this Friday and see what works and what doesn't, but i foreseeing that it'll do work :)Btw. I did order Sarkhan Dragonspeaker.... Hopefully it comes in time!!
Heh, good suggestions. If I had a Sarkhan unbroken he would definitely be in there. Deathmist Raptor is cool however it relies a lot on the morph mechanic, but still considering it. I was a little disappointed with Surrak the Hunt Caller when i saw him in pre-release, I mean... 4 for a 5/4 is cool and all but thats it for me, the ability is trumped by Temur Ascendancy.
Indeed! That it does.
Yea, I added that homeward path and its already saved me twice. And my friends don't allow me to play Rune-Tail Kitsune Ascendant anymore after winning so many times.
Extremely well written and thought through. In my particular case, with age and magic experience (of about 8 years), I found it best not to label players. Although this is purely my experience , my friends and I after countless games and phases of magic play (tourney, edh, standard, modern, pauper, etc) it ultimately just turns you into a super casual player in the long run. With so many cards to choose from its just crazy to stick with one concept. Anything... movies, books, people, can inspire decks wether that be control, aggro, combo, jonny, timmy, whatever... I found people that bind themselves to these concepts seem to not have near as much fun with the game. So I suggest to every new player out there... Really just have fun this game is not about limiting yourself. So try everything wether you win or lose, just have players that you play with that you can laugh and have fun with. Those are the times that make the game great. Thanks again for the awesome post dude it is important for people (especially new players) to get some direction. I do think this post helps give a good general understanding on what's out there as far as tactics.
Fair enough, I have replaced the gauntlet of power with caged sun. Thanks dude:)
Hey Horizon, This deck got a little jumbled up between two different thoughts, I orginally built a "mentor" deck then it turned into a swarm deck. Your advice helped me get it on the right track. The reason I have silence its casted in there turn at instant speed and grand abolisher keeps you safe during your turn. It completely shuts your opponet down for a turn, it annoys the hell out of my friend in meta terms. Even though I love the idea it is speratic so I will sideboard them. As for Martial Coup I hate killing my own creatures (especially Fiend Hunter, cause it free's up his dude I trapped ;) )even for the token trade. I will be sideboarding it though just incase I play against another white deck. Thanks bro for all the advise.
Very good suggestions, I really want to test run those on my weekly FNM. Thank you!
Oh thats some good advise! This deck cracks me up more and more!
I will say despite the mana cost flying crane technique, deflecting palm, and dragon styles twins have been game winners with games i've played Jeskai. Flying Crane Tech or dragon style twins are higher cmc, but I would just consider two b/c of the devastation they can cause on life points on your opponents . Deflecting palm is just beast, when someone swings with there 15/15, casting that takes your opponent down to 5 nothing but a couple of lightning strikes wins you the game. Gods willing and Cyclonic Rift you also might consider for lower cmc cards.
Yea, I can dig this... I'd play a deck with four Aether Snap / Vampire Hexmage. Just to mess with it. lol
Heh, Totally correct on all accounts... Love your feedback doctorhydrogen. Considering I have a EDH Lazav, Dimir Mastermind deck thats concept is coping or taking other creatures I should know better. Luckily I have BOTH cards kicking around, now if the scroll rack / land tax combo happens I will give you a shout out lol.
Great add, I love the survivability factor of that card, cause of the boomerang factor. Thanks.
This deck is killer dude. Primeval Titan is a fun one to maybe try out if your trying to burn through lands so you don't draw any more then you have to, however it is fun as is.
Well better then trample maybe consider "spirit mantle" so your opponents can't block the spirit dancer. Just a thought.
