You can try Sejiri Refuge instead of Azorius Guildgate just for a little extra life:)
Another thing you could consider is Render Silent, it seems like it is great for this deck.

instead of blue, why not run green?
there are may good cards to give your creatures +1/+1 counters.. such as Blessings of Nature

I'm pretty sure young pyromancer will still trigger, after you cast the spell, you're exiling it from the stack, so you would get both the +1/+1 counters and the token.

I think three should suffice... Once in a draft I drafted that card, and ended up with 12 elementals one game, because I was so lucky with the coin toss xD

2. It gives you elementals
3. You can potentially cast it multiple times to trigger young pyromancer...

be warned though... you might lose friends :)
another thing you can try out is reliquary tower, it allows you to keep more cards in your hand.
Overall, nice concept and nice deck!
