Deck Description

Rhys the Redeemed EDH ladies and goyfs. Got tokens? =P

How to Play

The way this deck plays is pretty straight forward: Spam out countless tokens with any number of token generating cards available to you, swinging for the fences all the while with your huge army. Once you can, you should use Rhys to make that token army absolutely stupid in size (bonus if you have Rings of Brighthearth and/or Illusionist's Bracers).

Deck discussion for Redeeming Qualities

Oh wow... THIS kind of deck right here is why I think they should lift the ban on Braids

Our group allows Braids man. EDH is a casual format...So long as you don't care about EDH tourneys, house rules is where it's at. Besides, they didn't ban her for being OP, just that she'd "take away the fun of the format". I say go for it =]

Rofellos though...there's a good reason he got banned. That dude's plain unfair =/

I love Braids!

Awesome deck man...SO focused haha.

Mind checking out some of my EDH?

Well they don't like Braids or any form of Stax effect at all, so they decided to keep that one :/

Other than Rofellos the only general I think is stupidly powerful is the thankfully banned Kokusho.

Yup, Rofellos and Kokusho are both well deserving of their bans...I'm glad to see that Azami isn't banned anymore, even though she is pretty strong, there's ways to deal with her (i.e., my Seizan deck murders her).

It sounds like you're a wolf befriending sheep WnB...they don't like Legacy and they don't like Stax? Hrm...They might be your friends, but tell them SWN said they need to grow a pair =P

Oh, and dag, any one of them in particular?

Isperia and my 5 color.

I'm trying to cut Isperia down to 99 after I added some cards.

Well two of them like legacy, but only one of them likes stax effects :/

Thanks! Either of you mind helping with cuts on Isperia? That'd be cool =P

Well nobody "likes" Stax effects, they just learn to deal with it =P

Even so, the argument that Braids' banning was due to "taking the fun out of a casual-based format" is flawed. For one, there are much more fun-draining generals out there...Sen Triplets, Maralen, and Erayo to name the three Arty uses (the bastard -_-). Secondly, I'm pretty sure having sanctioned tourneys for a casual-based format takes away a lot more fun than a particular general =/

Sorry for the rant...a bit annoyed with WoTC right now...(even though Innistrad for the most part looks AMAZING). tl;dr...Make a Braids EDH anyway =]

Coat of Arms in this deck is just plain nasty. Shields of velis vel would make it insane. Also, Ambush Commander would make a howl of the night pack/promenade also ridonkulous. Check out my Rhys EDH if you get a chance.

lol it is insane, and if you notice, with Devoted Druid, funny things happen =]

I'm thinking of making this deck :) I have about 1/3 of the non land cards in this and I'm sure I can substitute other lands for the expensive ones, so getting the other 2/3 of the deck won't be too difficult ;p

You should look into that new Innistrad card that doubles tokens, that would be amazing for this.

I'm not sure you're running enough elves to make use of both Wren's Run Packmaster and Wolf-Skull Shaman, you might want to look into more mana ramp so you can use mana abilities to generate tokens as well. Try taking out some of the nontoken producing big creatures and add in some more elves, particularly land fetch elves to help with stuff like Howl of the Nightpack. Also try that one Elf Legendary who taps for each forest you control, that would help to abuse abilties like Wren's Run Packmaster's

You think you could help me out with my EDH Deck? This one I actually plan on building and really need some cheap suggestions for it.

This deck is sick, maybe add a Druidic Satchel? And when innistrad is released i think you should add Parallel Lives, that would make this deck go out of control in seconds. haha.

Could you help me on my Rhys EDH deck? Its more of an enchantment deck than a tokens.

thanks.

Totally going to add in Parallel Lives. That thing is going to do crazy things for Horde decks =]

Now the question is, wtf do I take out for Parallel Lives?

0

I need that for my Momir Vig. With him I can just go...fish my few token producers outta my deck, then double those up.

I really want to try a blue green werewolf deck in standard. That's what I thingk will be best with them, though, it could still include red since there are those sweet new lands. I really wish the bosses would put innistrad up here already.

Umm. The only thing i can think of to remove would be... watchwolf, he seem s kinda out of place, i see why u have him(cheap and strong) but i think you would get more out of Parallel lives than watchwolf.

Citanul Hierophants. I made a Rhys the Redeemed EDH deck not too long ago. Too bad it didn't get on the front page. :P

Rather than Leyline of the Meek or possibly in addition to it you could use Intagible Virtue from Innistrad.

Intangible Virtue actually : P

I guess you're going to tell me your playgroup allows it, but isn't Noble Hierarch illegal in this deck because of the blue mana symbol?

0

Normally yeah. Our group allows it and we just have the other colors either not count for anything, or count as colorless.
