Your question got me investigating and this is what I found:
http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/deck-creation-modern/511892-modern-monoblue-devotion-aka-blue-man-group
The version I have here is basiaclly a weaker and cheaper merfolk deck, I think.
If you build this and find a card that you can cut for 4x draw spell or something that REALLY works it might become viable, like this I'm not sure.

Thank you for sharing that, I'm really happy it works.
Through looking back at in now maybe there is a better win condition than Skywise Teachings, AEtherling is one of the best budet control win conditions, and Lone Revenant is a favorite of mine, maybe much better than Skywise Teachings.
Also think twice might be better than Jace's Ingenuity.

Yeah this is one of my earlier decks and therefore it's a lot worse, I had the wrong idea of budget and only minnimal experience.

That's waaaaaaaaaay better.
Seat of the Synod would make it not legal in modern and that would NOT work. And Broodstar is just shit in affinity.

With no Urborg for red or blue mana that's too much colorless and it would hurt the deck too much. And maybe the fact that boom doesn't hurt you now would compensate for that but then the result is the same except that you can get color screwd.
So no, it seems bad.

Go LD!
I'm actually curious, have you ever played in a format in which LD decks are a thing, or have you played against heavy LD decks?

But that makes the deck total shit! You can't have infect+non-infect! That doesn't work!

I can always enjoy a slower rakdos deck and this one is no different :)

some of the cards are redundant and some are just worse than other in this deck.

OUT:
3x Undead Alchemist: dealing 20 is easier than dealing 40 or more...
2x Tome Scour: Screeching Skaab is better cuz it is a dude
3x Traumatize: Ideas Unbound is better, for 5 mana you want something impactful and while Traumatize mills a lot of creatures for 5 mana there are waaaay better things to do.
3x ScrapSkin Drake

IN:
1x Armored Skaab
1x Relentless Skaabs
4x Alchemist's Apprentice
1x Stitched Drake
rest is up to you

You don't need 22 lands for pauper delver, you curve out at 3.

I like that you're tagging your decks casual, much appreciated. For a casual deck this is pretty good.

NP I'm here to help. And yes the caves are there just for fixing, they aren't super necessary but I think they will help a lot.
