Let me look at your deck again, & get back to you there.

Birds of Paradise is 1cc. The only thing cheaper is 0, & since Mox Opal requires metalcraft, it's unreliable in this deck.
That's my point.
Yes, I've seen your deck, & that was my first thought, as well; I imagine your deck provided the inspiration for this one. Both good decks.
You're evil, & you must be stopped. As for HB, I like it, but it depends on how much of an advantage you'd lose by no longer being able to filter your draws. +1, keep us posted on your results!
Lure would be sweet on your Slagwurm, especially since the creatures required to block it are destroyed at the "declare blockers" step, & therefore deal no damage to your Wurm. Primal Rage would give trample to your beaters that don't inherently have it. nerddude is right about Mimic; since you're unlikely to use Lab Maniac's ability in EDH w/o Enter the Infinite, maybe make that switch. Overall, looks like a pretty fun deck! +1.
5000, Why are you telling Pithy not to run Beastcaller Savant when you included it in your own 2C EDH deck?
??? EDH is the place to play cards w/ CMCs too high for other formats...& Khalni Hydra costs 1 less to cast for each other G creature you control...also, Omnath is pretty-much made for EDH. Birds of Paradise is the best mana dork in the game...OKAY, I finally got it...we're talking $, not mana. In that case, I have no idea why anyone is telling you to build budget as though it's required. Build the decks you want, regardless of what your budget is. +1, looks like fun!
Cards like Guildgates & the KTK dual lands are cheap, if you can live w/ them coming into play tapped..."cheep", btw, is what birds say. -.- Like the deck, looks like fun. +1.
Okay?!? Keep us posted !
...or maybe , Cavern of souls? (I've got 1 playset, so perforce, they move around between my tribal decks.) I just want to go on record as saying I enjoy your decks immensely. I'm down w/ surewhynot's definition of play being "business casual"...& I've been playing Magic since 5th edition, so sure...why not? Gave you my "+1" some time ago...but symbolically, giving it again.
Not especially helpful, given the lack of direction. Are you building this based on cards you already have?
(And I guess thus goest, Crackling Doom.)
Would like to see some Description/ How To Play. I know this is a challenge if you're posting a deck from your phone...but even so.
Can't help noticing, you've chosen to go in colours favored by the format...a lesson that shouldn't be lost. Looking forward to seeing your results.
Sorry, just found this deck, a little late for offering advice...how's it working out for you?
...& Time Warp, & Walk the Aeons. The former is cheap, in terms of casting cost, but less so in $, so possibly not an option here... the latter is more affordable, & is especially good if you draw it late-game, as it has a sac islands buyback ability.
Probably also bears pointing out that the "early-game" cards I suggested removing amounted to a grand total of 4...not enough to make an impact against an agro EDH deck, which I'm assuming the ones you made an example of, are. This deck is in no way built to play that game; it's focused on doing big things, not responding to agro. Long story short, 4 "early game" creatures in a deck of 99 are unlikely to make an early-game impact (if you want to do that, in mono-U, play fish). Finally, didn't say that the early game doesn't count...said in EDH, it doesn't count as much, which more often than not is true. Even casual EDH decks usually have answers from the go. Sorry to go on so, on your deck, TWally; did try to forebear, but in the final analysis, I have no patience w/ cock-of-the-walk routines.
@SteelSpike, Got to give you that, as when my group played EDH, none of us played those decks. Some good suggestions being made, would like to also suggest Cyclonic Rift & Sleep to add to the shenanigans (both are budget-friendly).
Yes, a UR tutelage deck placed 1st at GP San Diego. That was before rotation, but that particular deck didn't utilize much from Theros block or M15, so I'm thinking there's still enough to support the concept in Standard. On another note, I've viewed a number of your decks at this point, & have to say I appreciate how well thought-out they are, as well as your well-done description/how to play sections. From what I gather, there's quite a few new players who use this site, & I'm sure your own tutelage is something that's appreciated. ;) +1.
