Spirit Link would go nice in here, too, as you can target an opponents creature, needs be, & still get the boon. Nicely done, +1.

Incidentally, I just noticed that this deck's been viewed over 2,000 times, & only been "liked" 21...Seriously, people, WTF???

Except that you have to have 2 BLs on the BF to keep your tango lands from entering the BF tapped...also, the deck is using non-land cards that look for BLs, as well. 15 does seem a bit excessive, though...seems like there's room for some Opulent Palace/Llanowar Wastes.

Wheel of Fate, Wheel & Deal, & Reforge the Soul alone are enough to deal lethal Commander damage w/ Nekusar on the BF. Add in as many other draw spells as you can find, cards that punish your opponent(s) for discarding, Lim-Dul's Vault & regular tutors, Rooftop Storm, counter spells, zombies...w/ a few exceptions, surprisingly affordable, & makes for a really fun deck.

It's not a spell. You're paying the activation cost for an activated activity. They're 2 different things.

Unfortunately, no, for the same reason...Descent doesn't target. :( Also, meant to mention Sorin's Vengeance when suggesting cards earlier. I see you're now at the point of needing to cut cards, though, rather than add, so I should probably quit w/ the suggestions!

Whispersilk Cloak is a budget option that gives shroud & unblockable; Swiftfoot Boots gives hexproof & haste. However, since Descent doesn't target, neither one will save a creature from being exiled, once you reach that point. If you have something you really want to save, though, you can always exile Descent itself in it's stead.

Grey Merchant of Asphodel, Erebos, & Chancellor of the Dross would all work well w/ that, too. Bad news: Neurok Stealthsuit isn't legal in your deck, as the card has U mana symbols on it. :( BTW, I think Maralen is a very interesting choice for a Commander. What I can't figure out, though, is whether your opponent's would prefer that she stick around, or not!

I've literally built decks around cards I came across using Gatherer's Random Card search. :)

This does look like a fun deck to play, but if you want more like-minded people to view it, you might want to change some of the deck tags..."GY", "self-mill", "Legacy" (or Vintage), & "Fun" (such as you already have) would be my suggestions. (Incidentally, for anyone viewing the deck who wonders why it's not Modern-legal, it's because of Dread Return.)

Greetings!! I appreciate your desire to dominate the board w/ awe-inspiring creatures...& dragons, I mean seriously, right?! Nothing more iconic to Magic than that! The thing is, I see you having a hard time getting many creatures into play w/ your current build. Usually, to play fatties, one goes one of two routes (or both): either ramp 'em out, or cheat 'em out. Examples of the latter are Deathrender & Quicksilver Amulet; the former usually involves playing either elves or creatures w/ defender that produce mana. In the case of the elves, if you use all elves which are also druids (Llanowar Elves, Elvish Archdruid, etc.) there's an opportunity to steal all your opponent's lands if you run Gilt-Leaf Archdruid as well. In the case of creatures w/ defender, you can deal a lot of direct damage by running Vent Sentinel in concert, & lots of combat damage by running Assault Formation. There are creatures in both categories which produce all colors of mana, so you're not limited in terms of which creatures you choose to run as your finishers. However, as you noted in your "How To Play" segment, it's advisable to run in-color removal along w/ your rampers/cheaters & high-powered finishers. In closing, let me say that if I've spoken of things you were already aware of, don't take offense, but rather consider this to have been something in the way of an albeit meager tutorial for Magic new chums. Last but not least, good gaming! - & hope to see more decks soon!

First of all, VERY solid SB choices! As far as equipment are concerned, there's no shortage of budget options, so it's really a matter of judgment/preference. I do have to say that Avacyn's Collar is tasking me, for the simple fact that it loses value in a nonhuman deck (no tokens). Another equipment you might consider that gives vigilance is Ring of Thune, which serves to continuously buff your creatures, as well. A few other budget equipment that continue to add value are Armory of Iroas (buffs creature), Banshee's Blade (buffs itself), Strata Scythe (gets stronger the more lands you have in play), & Nim Deathmantle (provides an option for getting a key creature back). But again, it's really a matter of preference, & Kor tribal is an excellent choice as a budget-build option. +1.
