Looks advanced :)
I spend a lot of time tracking the performance of individual cards, and some of them use to perform similar enough that I can put numbers on them.
I'd say that bloodchief ascension might be a three of, and the same with leyline of combustion, though I am actually a little bit in doubt with that one as it IS playable.

What I really miss in this is more synergy.
I like the burn/bloodchief and grim/kroxa synergies but it feels like you could cram in more of it :)

I can recommend kolaghan's command s one of the most flexible cards in rakdos.
It covers two aspects that you are weak on. Discard and artifact removal.
It can support bloodchief and revive your creatures (especially kroxa)

I'm also a huge fan of doomfall which I use against combo or decks with few large creatures, though it also beats boggles and infect.

I also think you could somehow squeeze in two simian spirit guide.

You might also get more aggro out of the deck by running ash zealot in mainboard. It's first strik ability works really well with lightning bolt and grim lavamancer.

Back when I was playing legacy I faced a lot of dredge, and often used 1 bojuka bog main to stop that strategy.
I figure with uro being such a huge part of the meta, they will hate to see that move.

If you can give me a hint at your problem decks I might have more ideas.
I've got an old grixis deck that I'm working on fine tuning these days, and it has some crazy adaptations, like 1 zealous conscripts to highjack a planeswalker the turn before it ultimates.

Speaking of planeswalkers. Dreadbore ?

Somehow I don't think you believe in luck :)
With transmute and fetchmages you increase the odds of certain things happening.

Do you know of any decks that go really deep into the transmute theme ?

There are several cards that have abilities close to transmute, so it might be possible to really exploit that theme.

I've also made a backup of the list that will be updated everytime I find someone who might be nice to contact.

Search for the decktag: chatlist

Refer the list to anyone who takes an interest in joining.
I'll accept new members of it and remove people who doesn't like to be contacted this way
(They might have personal problems or just have little time on the web)

You don't need to go through them all.

Some highly social people aren't on the list because I considered them beyond reproach.

List of relatively social people:
Siggysickness
Basilicanero
Ouraptor
Leste1mr (he's your co-worker, he'll contact you)
Mettiz
PM
Mgardner
Rickyv123
Tammara
Mcrazy96
Breslin
Happy feet
Saucesoja
Kight1981

List of people who might not respond or are busy:
Macxerez
Grieves
Crazywictor
Aikinsch
Jbfcrasher
Jerlur
Tjbxbb
Chesless
Kraven01

I don't know what should be the topic, but one of the things I've been working on is community tags.
If we create some tags that mark us as part of a larger group we can basically invent new ways to enjoy this site.

Take a small looks at the decktag: nfo
I was busy at that time, so I didn't get far, but something close to that might be possible.

Otherwise knock yourself out, every living person is full of experiences, and could be someone who knew something you didn't know you needed to know :)

Sure is, how would you do it ?
Do you realise how many "new" people pops in each day ?
I got about 60 in 4 days.
I need a methodical approach.

I like this build.
I know someone in here who is involved in tournament play as well.
He goes by the username supermegapanda

When that is said, I sadly also got some wall of text for you.

Welcome to mtgvault newcomer
(Or if you are an oldie, welcome back from dormancy)

Sorry to disturb, but at the behalf of the community I'd like to warn you that we have been suffering some troll attacks recently.

The troll revives older accounts and use them to like his own decks, and copies decks from here and other sites, and each time one of us posts something that gets a few upvotes he posts these copies, upvotes them and we all slide into the background

Because of this, all new and older accounts that suddenly come alive are viewed with some suspicions.

I'm warning and archivating all of these accounts.

If you want to help the community there is one thing you should know.
Mtgvault has a tag system that helps you search for a tag, using tags will make you easier 5o find longterm. Some of the new people feel ignored and starts copying their own pages which only helps the troll.

Engage in the community, but be aware that if you get no answers you might have tried to chat up the troll. To be seen by the community your best bet is to start by talking in a deck with many comments. Or even start talking on your own pages. The more comments the more people will see that you ain't the troll.

The troll is also lazy and has no time to write details about his decks, so the more you describe your own deck, the better.

I think I can state from us all that we hope you can somehow add more to the community than a raging troll.

Feel free to jump right into any ongoing conversation or "help needed" page that tickles your inner commentator ;)

I'm wickeddarkman, and though I am behind some initiatives against trolls, there are others who use the tag anti-troll to generate awareness of the troll attacks.

I've collected a number of recent troll behaviours, and if you are somewhat curious about those, search for the decktag: wdm trolls
Then click on the deck named: the tools of our trolls.

This greeting is a template that I copy from one of my personal template pages.
Anyone who wants to greet newcomers or old reawakened users should feel free to create their own version.

Before you greet, make sure that the person is new/reawakened by clicking on their username and study what years the person last were active. Read the newest decks to make sure others haven't welcomed them already ;)

EVERYONE ELSE:
I've been keeping track of my battle against the troll.
Last week my only strategy was to post decks that linked to my anti-troll campaign. At that point the troll just plastered new decks onto the site, burying my message. This meant that the number of decks posted doubled in numbers, and we had 8 pages floating with decks.

Since then I've countered this by contacting everyone who posts with a common warning. This serves three purposes, first everyone become aware of the troll, second, every time the troll revives an old account to try burying my message he actually manages to cause more awareness. Third, he will be burning through his accounts at high speed, and since I'm keeping track of everyone at the moment I will have a list of flagged accounts to refer to if he ever tries to go back to his outdated measures.

I hope everyone will be patient while this happens, but you shouldn't hold back on yourselves, start up chatting with each other. If the person is unresponsive, move on to the next. Use tags, look at decks and find out what you share in common.

A few of the olden members in here recently called me dedicated to this cause, and I am. This is not the only related project for me. I'm also working on personal projects (my prison series that will one day be merged by evolution) and personal problems.

I'm working on how to restore a stronger community once I've tirred out the troll.

Remember that I'm currently more or less alone in this, so I have to be extremely thorough.

So far I'm tracking about 60 users, and when all is said and done, I'm actually just warming up.

If the community wants it I'll post a list of users that are engaging in the community.
Knowing who wants to build up connections will help strengthening this place.

This format is most likely pre-modern.
We have a few people who tags it like that.
Vintage is a very different kind of beast ;)

Most of these builds use veteran explorer, which they kill by using a tutor named diabolic something.
This gives a frequent turn 2 kill.

That would give the troll an edge.
My task is to bring the troll more work, in order to take him down, and if I increase my own workload I just decreases his workload.

Besides, people need to know how this place works, or they unconsciously aid the troll by doing his work for him.
I've been reading through all recent users both to flag troll behaviour in my notebook, but also to gain more data.

I've seen a lot of people who probably aren't trolls who copy their own decks because they don't know the function of tags.

Everytime you post a deck, the red commendation section recommends you to become easier to be found by using tags but who reads that ;)

I can give you the names of self copying users if you want to and the specific decks, just so you can see it with your own eyes ;)

Why?
Not using tags means people come to the conclusion that copypasting is the way to go, and they become part of the troll problem.

If you start taking a look at everyone posting, and slavishly go through their decks you will see lots of people copying their own decks and posting them again.

I'm cleaning up a mess that the past community should have dealt with.
I know you have feelings for trolls and sympathize with them (you've told me)
But I haven't!

Yeah, I've been wondering if oops, selective and belcher could all be put together in some way, they sort of share some traits. It would probably be a grixis version. Blue for thassa's, black for balustrade and his friend, red for rituals and then evangeline and narcomoeba would be fillers.
