Because of the title I expected to see unglued or unhinged cards. :(
You still get an upvote though ;)

I wouldn't call it a revive :) there are still the same problems involved, but I've gotten more info on the topics.
I still rage against visions of beyond.

The better reason is that I'm working on the deck called
Upgrading this deck

I built it to defeat mill so I can defeat what beats mill ;)

So I have to be a little like a d&t player

I'm trying to find room for both phyrexian revoker and æther vial

A rules link :) that's always good in a rules question.
Like I told supermegapanda I was scared it was a layers problem where the last opposing effect is the one counting. Luke playing an enchantment that say all creatures lose flying, then playing an enchantment that says all creatures gain flying.

I've played mill so many years, and actually never been in this situation. I guess d&t had a break at that period ;)
I'm designing a deck to train my mill upon, and it already had leonin arbiter as a way to disrupt the mana. It's nice to know it also locks down archive trap, at the cost of a land.

Thanx, I did try looking up the rules first, and it was a bit unclear on the bit involved, and most parts said there would be no shuffling. I knew that fail to find wouldn't work, but was afraid there might be something about layers in it, like when one card says all can fly, and and another says all cannot fly.
I'm working on my anti-mill deck and was suddenly in the situation. Funny thing is I had played 45 games before it happened.

Question:
If leonin arbiter is in play, and someone playing mill
Activates field of ruin to force you into a search,
And you opt not to pay, what happens?
Does this still force archive trap through, or have you become immune?

Heh, the name comes from an old saying.
"The only things that are sure, is death and taxes"
So the name implies that if you can trust any deck to win, this is it...

I got a copy pasted question for you, since you are into this ;)

I like the way you can store some mill in the graveyard.

This jace is about card quality. You trade a useless card for something that might be better. This isn't quite the same as card advantage, and is dependent on the overall quality of the cards in your deck. This might be why many mill-decks tried him out for a while, but then stopped using him. He is exceptionally hard to build a deck around, but using flashback is one way of doing it.

His archivist is all about cardadvantage, but jace being jace, they do not compliment each other very well. His archivist wants to tear the library down and start all over, while jace prefers to replace what he throws away, and thus sabotages his own helper.

Overall this build needs some defences. The most aggressive decks out there are capable of bypassing blockers and they are able to kill at turn 3-4. Infect can even kill at turn 2 due to become immense driven by archive trap.

I took a look at some old 4cb battles.
It's funny how wd bot always managed to win more than me.
It's like getting told that you might as well be better of by being more random.
I did my best to secondguess everyone but myself at a random day.

Sometimes anger is an excellent fuel ;)
In my teens I was driven a lot by anger.
In the twenties I got more into zen.
In my forties I rediscovered my anger, and now, at 49 I'm flirting with zen full anger.
Also known as grumpy but wise old man syndrome

Yeah or page 3.
I think new decks and new comments hang out in the top pages for a limited time, like notifications.
If you are on vacation you might have had 100's of people trying to say your deck was cool, but youd never notice if you don't look at that deck again. It's part of why I sometimes get a deletion rage.

Yeah, if cycling's the only ability on the critters the rest of the deck would have to hold them up.
Since this message also got through, I suspect notifications are timed, and disappear after a while.
That would root out some memory space for other stuff. I imagine that before that, lots of notifications were just hanging out ;)

They have been in modern since 2018.
I got one of the older designs as a testdeck ;)
