I think House of Cards would be an excellent choice for the name. It would represent all of the politicians from the House in the American government and the alternate win from milling cards for your opponent.

If you want extra control, you might think of using Elite Arcanist with Riot Control for complete damage prevention. Pacifism would also be a great card to prevent some damage as a sideboard card.

I learned recently that boros charm is wonderful against board clears.

I don't see why no one uses Descendant's Path with all of the Sliver decks I see on here. When you pair it with Garruk, Caller of Beasts, It is a beast of a card. Just something to think about. Otherwise it's a great build. Ive never thought about Progenitor Mimic in my sliver deck. I built my deck to be more midgame/overrun. If you want to take a look...

just one more thing you might want to take a look at. New 2014 creature called Elite Arcanist. You can use it with counterspells or Fog to use it over and over.

It should do much better now.

I'm aware. That's why i added the addendum for making it a little more expensive...budget vs. pauper I guess. Still, looks like fun to play.

Im missing blood artist and exquisite blood for some control. Makes it a little more expensive but so much more annoying.

The only problem is direct damage then. Shock and other cards can destroy your one and only Jace, so I might think about adding more Jace and taking out some of the damage prevention for counterspells to go with your blue mana.

I would take out the Enlarge, 3 Mad Cap skills, and 3 Domri Rade and add a Groundshaker Sliver, 2 Megantic Sliver, 2 Battle Sliver, and 2 Garruk, Caller of Beast. I like the idea of using boros charm for indestructible, I may use that in my own deck. I also like using silence for control since you are using white mana. Also, since you dont really need the Chromatic Lantern since you have all the colors of mana you need, I might take those out and try for one or two Mutavault and another Megantic sliver.

For a Sliver deck, this build is light on slivers. I like to use Descenants' Path and Garruks for some serious mid game creature ramping. Replace Collective Blessing with Megantic Slivers.

Is there a direction you want to go with this? A few general suggestions. If you want to use the hydra more, I might add Corpsejack Menace for even more counter ramping. Also, A few Slitherheads might be good for a one drop and the scavenge ability. Crypt Incursion and Elixir of Immortality are more sideboard cards, and you may want to look up Witchbane Orb and Pithing Needle for the sideboard as well. Welcome back to the game though. I just got started a few months ago after an eight year hiatus myself.

Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond...How have I not heard of this before now. Great build.

This is great control... I don't see how you win with this deck though. It has no protection from anything other than combat damage. I would add something like invisible stalker with some buffs like phytoburst. Also, since you dont use tokens, I would replace druid's deliverance with moments peace, since it also has flashback.

Where is Guttersnipe? Otherwise looks like a load of fun. Also maybe look at Chandra, Pyromaster. Just for fun.

I still hold that elite arcanist is an awesome card in any deck that has a heavy load of instants. I would use it with far/away for control or thought scour for card draw. Also, crypt incursion takes down consuming abberation's power. I might rethink those two working together if you want the abberation to be able to kill. Also I would take out the evolving wilds and add two more phantasms for early damage potential. Finally, I would take the land down to 20 total and add more tome scour or essence scatter.

My bad. You can still use thought scour for card draw. Elixir of Immortality also make a great sideboard card against other mill decks.
