What about Tenacious Dead? He's a good guy. Also, Regeneration doesn't go to your graveyard. Reassembling Skeleton and Tenacious Dead would work that way. Or you could make a nasty persist/undying deck with Melira and make it green/black.

You're a little short of a happy meal. Bazaar Trader may work well in case you don't get out Witchbane Orb. I like this idea though. Casting Paradox Haze on them and then giving them the Jinxed artifacts could work.

Standard Slivers just with Manaweft Sliver have made Slivers competitive.
