Replace Chlorophant with Groundbreaker, Leatherback Baloth, Predator Ooze, or Unyaro Bees and the deck is Modern legal!

There we go, that's a change I can get behind.

Also, reaper of the wilds seems amazing.

I was more excited about necroskitter stealing me kitchen finks, redcaps or goyfs. I like that he survives bolt, stops random beatdown from snapcasters, bobs, or other X/1s and combos with black sun's zenith to a decree.

Yeah, he doesn't combo with tokens, but I think he's a swell fellow nonetheless.

You are missing the absolute #1 card for this kind of deck: Martyr of Sands. Gain 3x the number of white cards in your hand life. It's the nuts.

Also, this is giving me ideas for Modern...

I love it. I think you should probably run Golgari Charm over Rakdos Charm though, because it provides similar utility, but it kills true-name nemesis and friends.

My blue-hate deck might just lose to this, because your win-con is colorless. Unless I have bolt+counter backup in hand...

The sideboard isn't for cards that *maybe* should be in the deck. Cards either are in or out. Sideboards are for cards that beat a certain match-up, or cards that replace main-board cards that are bad against a certain match-up. They are always chosen with a specific deck or class of decks in mind. I think Explore should either be main or not at all.

I feel like Haunting Echoes is kind of clunky for Modern. If it resolves, I pretty much win, but I'd rather just resolve 4 Free Archive Traps to win.

There's still a ton of main deck removing going around, so you might want to be careful with madcap skills.

I would say that twin is just really strong right now even with the hate flying around. The cruel control list doesn't seem as good as an American control even though you get to pretend to be Nicol Bolas and bitch-slap people around. The black splash seems to be primarily for disruption, which helps against the UR mirror as well as the wider field so I don't have a problem with that as long as you can reliably combo.

I think a more streamlined tempo approach will work better than trying to ramp out scuttlebutt.

I MIGHT BE WRONG THOUGH.
