i realize that with no attack, the collar is useless so i put in gorgon's flail.

jace's ingenuity cost's way too much. if you gonna run an expensive draw go with mind spring. and no merfolk sovereigns is a surprise.

i would trade out the territorial baloths for ob nixilis the tormentor because he's nasty with landfall. then for a better effect with landfall triggers, run 4x verdant catacombs 4x terramorphic expanse or evolving wilds (same card basically) because these actually speed the deck up by thinning out your deck to get better draws and then 10x swamps and 9x forests. i know thats a lot of lands but with you fetching them and duobling landing on a lot of turns you dont need to run out.... then to help even more throw in some grim discover which allows you to get a creature and a land back from ur graveyard for (B)(1). pretty nice eh? since you'll be running grim discoveries you can kick nature's spiral and through in some more ramp spells like maxing your harrows and getting growth spasms and cultivates. your other non-ramp spells aren't really neccessary either since you'll be getting rediculous creatures via landfall. =D

just what i would do though. good start though. ill rate it at 6.5 for now. (ill rerate later if you update it)

and id replace rootbound crag with raging ravine

if u think about it like that then yes, but i see it as a form of removal. fauna shaman, vampires, goblins, soldiers, ball lightning, tons of things are killed by it.

did you conside lightning bolts?

nice idea/build. maybe ceredon yearling could help protect while ur building ur land base for outcast and scuts. and maybe som natures spirals to get things back if they accidentally get destroyed.

maybe nest invader. its a 2 drop 2/2 that puts down a spawn as well.

y didnt you build the deck using the site?

i added 2 and cut one kalitas to help the mana curve slightly

no tome scours? why?

they help thin out the deck so that i can get more draws that arent lands....

comments for improvements appreciated. this is a rough idea of where ii want to go with it.

maybe replace them with fists of ironwood to make it challenge legal.
