There is no extra attacker or burn spell, It's taking advantage of the lands already in the deck . Why not make 4 of the basics fetches utilizing them for a possibility not so much as a main objective. Your recommending the same amount of lands which I already have with no possibility of helping lavamancer. Simply to save 1 to 4 life, 4 being very unlikely. As well there is already 15 "1 trick ponies" not counting the 3 Devils.

For no other reason then being graveyard filler for Grim Lavamancer. It's so fast that the 1 ping truly doesn't matter but having one extra card in there on turn 4 or 5 for the when happens.

Bident is Legendary and Legendary rule applies. As well you can untap an untapped permanent but it doesn't untap. so it wouldn't if you want a complete cycle combo you have to get a tap target mechanic.

You should think of you sideboard as 15 situational cards which are amazing in certain match ups but useless otherwise. Example of Shattering Spree against artifact decks or Rest in Peace against graveyard play decks. Build a sideboard that has the 2 or 3 cards to combat each of the Top tier decks. If your going to FNM often learn your specific meta game then tweak your sideboard accordingly. What ever you do don't put cards in your sideboard simply B/C you think they fit the thyme or you may like them but ran out of room. If you want something like that cut something in your main deck.

If you can afford them replace the 2 Guildgates and the 2 Jungle Hollow with Cavern of Souls. At the very least ditch those crappy Guildgates for Wind-Scarred Crag, Temple of Triumph, Battlefield Forge. All are better then Gates. Sorry but I have a personal hate on Guildgates.

It's Modern so you can't play Crystalline Sliver which is the best one printed. I always like throwing Gitaxian Probe into any deck really. It's basically playing with 56 card in your deck and has the ability to give you crucial information of opponents hand. For example turn 5 cast Probe for 2 life, Draw see opponents hand, OK good no counter spell play Sliver Hivelord. Or there is a counter play something else to draw it out.

Daring Thief or Deepwater Hypnotist. Take advantage some cards with Inspired since you have 10 cards already which untap your creatures.

and if you can afford them 4x Cavern of Souls can really help tribal decks.

Well I'm a huge fan of Venom and Striking Slivers together so 4 of each of those. As well Galerider Sliver is a game winner. I'd cut Groundbreaker and Constricting Slivers they're to mana costly by the time you can cast them you should already be winning.

Here's my Sliver deck for some ideas. It is Legacy/Vintage but it wins more then not.

Without knowing your current meta game where you play not much else I can do. Your best off playing this 15-20 times and use your best judgement for what is and isn't working for you. :) Glad I could help.

I really like shattering spree since it can deal with multiple artifacts. lose Hurly Burly and coat of arms for 3 Engineered Explosives and 2 Relic of Progenitus. Other then that it looks strong
