First I'll say Happy Birthday! Then I will say this deck is based around illegal actions and cards so I couldn't possibly take it seriously. Sorry for the harsh statement just a reality. Why has this made front page I ask all those who made it happen?

Crystalline Sliver! should without a doubt be a 4 of in a legacy sliver deck. as well a turn 1 Striking Sliver + turn 2 Venom Sliver will shut most aggro decks down. THat said I suggest you make them 4 ofs .

Well said Pushkin thanks for fielding that one. In addition if my opponent isn't dead on turn 6 or 7 something went horribly wrong anyways. When I reference late game with Banefire my meaning turn 6/7.

this is the link to my crazy multiplayer deck which is a lot of fun and off the wall. so this deck wouldn't be a option.

I don't care about the 2 life so having Gitaxian Probe is essential playing with a 56 card deck which is, In it's self is bettering my chances of what I want not to mention its a graveyard filler for Lavamancer.

Like running Tormod's Crypt against those who Delve, Banishing Light as a good removal/control card. Soldier of the Pantheon is great as well against the Abzan decks like mine in Standard now.

Check it out here. Something you would be matched up against. Always looking for opinions too.

Once you peg down your main deck I think you need to work on your sideboard if planning on running this in a competitive atmosphere.

Which is the way you should play the god's, just thought it may affect your decision.

you would be playing thassa almost strictly for the scry andunblockable option since devotion would be very unlikely. keranos has a bit better chance of becoming a creature but not often.

As well I would put 4 lightning Bolts in place of Izzet Charm.

I agree but banefire is a better choice in my opinion.

I agree Thassa is way better then Keranos. you have the chance to be winning on turn 5 o 6 without him and that's when you would be getting to cast him anyway, just a bit to slow. He should be a 4cmc.

So that's assuming you cast mantis rider turn 3 and 4. (dealing damage then as well.) So on turn 5 attack with both Mantis Riders then cast Howl tap both Riders to cast Stoke? This = OVERKILL but I'm one to always side with OVERKILL :) Just another way Howl works in here I guess. Could become a 4 of if you find it resolves on a high percentage.

I think Howl of the Horde is very good and underestimated. If it ever goes off on turn 5 or 6 for raid it's pretty much always gonna end the game.

Remember a good way to look at it is you don't need the life if your opponents dead. The reason burn does so well and why it will always be a competitive deck in most formats.

a turn 5 Howl of the Horde combined with Lightning Strike or Magma Jet is a good way to go or with Hordeling Outburst allowing for a possible 9 goblins into play on turn 6 swinging with a huge Rabblemaster. I'd say cut the Sage of the Inward Eye for Howl of the Horde.

I'm gonna suggest Nykthos shrine to Nyx and Phyrexian Obliterators in this.

Jessie is correct. They are there to increase the % of a turn 3 win. When most are doing it turn 4 or 5. Mind you this usually does win on turn 4 or 5 but it does happen on 3 more often now.

Every time I have cast her she has done minimum 3 damage so it's almost a 3 for 1 card.

I think Nyx-Fleece Ram or Wall of Essence may be more helpful then Seeker of the way. Also harder for your opponents to get rid of.
