I'm not a big fan of Keranos in modern it's just a bit to slow at 5 mana. I only have Research // Development in here as a one of B/C I can cheat it out on a scepter and cast Development for 2. (4 if you count putting the scepter out) I may try to dig up an Ajani Vengeant, it does seem like this deck caters to him. Thanks for taking the time to look it over. :)

Kind of along the same lines as Exiling as well. A creature doesn't actually die when it becomes exiled it is simply moved to another board zone (the Exile zone) which would not trigger when this creature dies abilities.

Well I happen to think that vintage is the best format because you can use all cards ever printed with restrictions on around 40 or so power cards, for the sake of keeping the game some what fair. I'm sure many others agree. Anyone that knows anything about MTG would obviously play all the power 9 in any vintage deck if it was actually in their means to do so. However if someone does not have them it's pretty unrealistic to think the average person would spend that kind of money on a casual game. It's nice having some of the really strong cards like Tolarian Academy and Sol Ring to play with which are actually obtainable to the majority.

I agree it's kinda of ridiculous to suggest to someone in a casual deck to go drop closer to 15k on a few cards.

I think you will go further faster using the urza lands with 2 expedition maps oppose to the artifact lands. Again I will suggest Thoughtcast since it's 2 cards for 1 mana for the most part. As well Mindslaver is extremely fun and really annoying to play against. Not seeing Cranial Plating anywhere either.

I think this is the first Affinity deck I've seen that doesn't run Thoughtcast. Just sayin.

K in my opinion you need to lose all the vivid lands and replace with what ever fetches you can get your hands on that allow you to get anything you need at the time. If your able to do that then replace a few of the check lands for some more basics since you don't wanna get screwed out of the benefit when your opponent Ghost Quarters you. Not much need to worry about getting Path'd since you don't have any creatures to be targeted. However Blood Moon will shut you down to the point where you should just scoop if you let one resolve. If you do manage to add 5 or 6 fetches it will also allow you to remove farseek giving you room to add 3 more "threat" cards as appose to self benefit cards. I would suggest 3 Lightning Helix B/C well, it's Lightning Helix. Which brings me to your sideboard, It seems to me that other then Supreme Verdict,Slaughter Games (great against combo) and Detention Sphere the rest are just cards that you think work well with the deck. I'm of the opinion that your sideboard is strictly there to provide you with answers to the top decks you will be facing. Like Shattering Spree and Stoney Silence for playing against artifact decks, Rakdos charm for splinter twin or some other infinite token thing, Thoughtsieze (could mainboard this) against anything really. Leyline of Sanctity for Rack/burn decks. Rest in peace or Grafdigger's Cage for graveyard decks. You see were I'm going with this, most of these cards are dead in your deck unless you happen to be playing against what their specifically designed to deal with.

If death's shadow is in hand hurt yourself, if not let opponent do the work while building to draw into shadow. That would be my main deciding factor.

If you mean does Worldfire exile Norin no B/C he exiles himself when you cast Worldfire and is not there upon resolve. However I have no idea how your gonna make use of him with out any "when another creature enters the battlefield effects. In a suicide deck like this to make your Shadow huge putting Basilisk Collar on it when he swings for big damage will give you big life gain at a crucial time. Usually enough to let you win following turn with another threat or bit of burn

Ya wizards tried to add mill into standard but just didn't have the power cards needed like Glimpses, Funeral and Archive Trap. As well with all the fetching that goes on in modern Archive trap is a huge power house.

Sorry for it being confusing I copy pasted from my deck.
I run UWR so there is also shattering spree and Guttural Response which don't apply to you.

Looks very effective and doesn't need to much in my opinion, just some mana base changes. My suggestions would be to add Celestial Colonnades for a alternate win condition in the unlikely case someone is running Elixir of Immortality and more basic lands in case of Path to Exile, Ghost Quarter or Blood Moon.

Thanks for the suggestions I will add 4 Groundbreaker since it fits the thyme so well and try to squeez 1 thrun in since it is Thrun after all. However the deck was inspired by Force of Savagery and I wanted to try a way to actually make it work.

Nice deck man +1 from me. Once rotation happens which is just around the corner, I suggest running Ainok Bond-Kin, He will have excellent synergy with Ajani giving all your creatures with +1/+1 counters First Strike. As well as Wingmate Roc as a 1 or 2 of in the deck, Wingmate Roc will be especially usefully when you have a bunch of tokens out to gain life from each attacker.
Sorry to anyone who doesn't scope out the spoilers and likes to be surprised.
In addition I would really appreciate some feed back on this one I came up with the other day.

OK just thought it over for a bit and maybe I'm taking the wrong approach. Instead of dismissing Geopede perhaps keep it and add some support for it. Like adding Lightning Greaves and Rouse the Mob, Protection/Trample since it always sucks having all damage from a big monster be absorbed into worthless creature.
